  1. I'm not trying to piss you off but I have a 2003 LE Banshee for sale. Has 12 tanks of gas threw it, always mixxed at 32:1. It has FMF Power Core 2's, FMF SST's, PRO DESIGN Billet K&N filter, 280 jets (comes with 260's and 290's also). COOL HEAD with 21 cc domes, WB boost bottle, MSD, and V force reeds. It also has the TORS removed and has Billet water pump, LSR parking break block off, Renthal bars with Renthal diamond grips, AC racing bumper with mudscreen, quick adjust clutch, 22 realators on itp .190's. and full GYTR skids (a-arms, swing arm and belly). I've had it for sale locally since last yr and in the want ad for a good 7 months, started out at 5200. This thing is practicly brand new and looks close to show room condition, it was for sale at $3500. for over 4 months. I think I got a guy coming this weekend to take 2999. for it

  7. I'm not sure if its bored out or not and the guy I got this off of had another banshee, a 400ex, and a few dirt bikes so it didn't have time to ride this. I have ridden it 3 times. I gues his best friend owns a dealer ship and a shop and cut him a deal and build the bike off the showroom floor for him. -Bob

  11. Put needle clip from 4'th to 3'rd and turned fuel air screw in from 2.5 out to 1.5 out and it runs great. PERFECT thank you guys for all the help.

  14. Hey, I didntr dis connect the TORS, the guy that had it before me did and it ran fine all the times I rode it before. So Ill check but I don't think thats it. Thanks tho. I was online at dynojet.com looked at a chart for 280 main jets and my elevation it it said to move needle clip to 3'rd notch and put fual air screws 1.5 turns out so I'm gonna try to do that and I'll get back to you guys.
  15. Hey I did take the slides out btw but the cut away goes facing the left side...... its the only way it drops in all the way, facing the air box it wont drop it right.

Today, (next day) I went out did NOT change the jetting from previousday or plugs ...... started second kick? maybe first I cant remember then it ran for about 45 sec and just died and wouldnt start. I wanna check my float adjustment, what should it be? I dont have a book? and Could it be the pilot jets or fuel air mixture screws? What kills me is with the 260's in it from the summer even when its 30 it would start up and run and never stall it was just lean. and I didnt touch the fuel air mixture screws but I did hit the float once gently.   17. Went to a 280 main, tryed starting it, wouldnt start. Check plugs, cleaned em (they were fouled from the 290's) started it up after 5 kicks, idled great for a few min I was giving it small revs, went to get on it gave a very small rev and it just bogged out and died and didnt start again. Took out the 290's put in the 280's wouldnt start, check my plugs they were fouled from the 290's, cleaned em (spark plug cleaner), started 5 'th kick idled good by it self, revved it a few times, then let it idle for about 45 seconds and it just died..... I been trying to start it since. Should I only go up to a 270 from a 260? the 260 was put in in the summer when it was like 85 and like i said it 0- 30 lately, 20 today. Seems kinda weird I'd only have to go up one size. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks -Bob
  19. Sorry for starting another thread its just it has 5 replys so I didnt know if anyone else was gonna even bother looking. I live on NH MA border bout 30 min. from ocean, and my mods are FMF SST's on Power Core2's, Pro Design K&N filter, Pro Design COOL HEAD with 21 cc comes, V-Force reeds, WB boost bottle, MSD and I think it has Pro X pistons, not sure bore or compression the guy I got it from had his buddy that owns a shop cut him a deal and he build it. I think there stock bore and compression. But if I go from a 260 to a 290 I don't have to move the needle? I'm going to do the 280 in about a hour it just doesnt seem right cause the needle hole is bigger why wouldnt you have to move it? I've jetted 4 strokes a few times but never a two..... and dual cylinder.... this is fun lol. Thx- Bob
