  2. well the other day i messed up my lower left arm and as i was reading my repair manuel it says im gonna need to buy new ones so,what is a good after market A-arm that is somewhat cheap and reliable i figure i will try for aftermarket ones first and if that dont work out ill by stock ones again but id like some cool aftermarket ones so if anyone know which would be a good set or has some forsale plz let me know thanks!!!
  3. i went rideing today and not even 20 mins into the ride my bike breaks i went over a very small jump and landed and my left front wheel comes out of its joint in the lower A arm and i went over the bars.....anyway im fine and theres nothing else wrong with the bike except now the wheel and lower a arm are no longer connected so what should i do? replace the arms with new ones with a different joint setup or out this one back together and if i do what are the chances of it doing this again? thanks
  4. but would the cooler weather cause one carb to run richer? the bike has 163 psi i think in each side, has cool head on and i run 93 octane.
  5. ok i have a 2000 banshee, when i first bought it it wopuld start on the first kick every time now after i replaced the clucth cable is doesnt want to start on the first anymore,to the point where i kill myself trying to start it. now i notice that the left side pipe smokes more then the right side and has more oil around the exhuast hole where the right side has has none.also im not sure what to do abnout my other problem it seems when i turn the fuel on and while im trying to start it it leaks fuel out of the right side carb bowl like the float is stuck or something . no the bike runs fine and once it is started it runs allday no prob will start on first kick every time until motor get real cold after a few days of sitting i dont know if the hard starting is from the weather getting colder or what but if anyone has a good idea on what my problem is plz let me know.thanks
  6. i have a 2000 banshee that when i bought it, it would start on the first kick every time now its not wanting to start it takes alot of kicks to get it going, the motor trys to start but will idle for a few seconds and cut off does this 5-6 times after a bunch of kicks without anything, when it trys to start it seems like its haveing a had time for it to get fuel, usally when it starts it idles for a second then the motor picks up a few rpms until i turn the choke off, anyone know whats up with it? and i also noticed that on the left side silencer theres more oil around the opening then on the right side like maybe the carbs arent in tune with each other or is this typical banshee stuff and nothing to worry about?any advice would help thanks
  7. iv been rideing dirt bikes for a long time now and i think im ready for a new toy since i sold my last bike and bought a car. iv been real interested in buying a banshee iv seen them every time i rode on the weekends and just have fallen in love with the thing.so i got some cash and im looking for one it could be stock or modded but not to heavily. i went and looked at opne today and it seemed like i knew more about the bike then the owner did. bike had engine work done which bothers me a little just because this guy was an idiot. my main question is what should a i like for in a used banshee in the price of $4000 or cheaper. i know the thing should be in good running order that i know but is there little trick things all i know is to make sure air filters look somewhat clean like the bike has ben well maintained and to make sure is runs correcly and shifts fine and no major frame dmg. pretty much where i live the big thing with banshees is every rides them up and down there streets and do burnouts everyone i talked who is selling one says its never been offroad.
