  4. advance your timming, shave your flywheel and get your head milled. get pipes, and an airfilter. with that stuff you can still run on 93 octane.

  7. i was thinking about using blaster pegs. i was just wondering though. on the right side peg, does it bolt right on or will i have to use a spacer or washer? because one side goes in further than the other. also will the kick starter catch the peg mount and stop it from going all the way down? and if anyone has a pair that they would sell for less than $25 shipped to MA let me know. thanks
  8. you have to call up a bunch of atv registrys and give them your VIN number. that way if some one went to register it they could get cought. slim chance but its prolly not even the same color by now. if he parts it out and the guy who needed a spare engine bought it and registerd it maybe they could trace it back to that guy.

  12. no its not getting the spark.
  13. i have a xr 100 that wont spark. i tried a new cdi and the coil seems to be good. i havent put a new plug in, but it just stopped all of a sudden and now wont spark. so i pulled the wires from the kill switch and when i hold them two wires and try to kick it over, it zaps my hand so i know something is making a spark. i have an ohm meater, but i just dont know what wires to test. i didnt want to buy a manual because im selling it once i get it going. anyone have any ideas? thanks

  18. mine always pulled straight off the line and never threw a chain so i assume they were pretty straight. You take and put the bike on your flat work table. Then you take a tape and measure from the lower a-arm shock mount to your axel. you put a framing square to get an accurate measure from the front or rear of the axel. i can almost guaranty you that if you dint weld it on the bike these measurements will be off some. i really dont see how they could be perfect if you dont tack it all up on the bike. what are you guys measureing exactly? from where to where? take that measurement and let me know how close you got it. that only would work if your arms arnt bent too.
  19. how would one go about setting up the jig to make sure its perfectly square? thats all i need to know because if that is off like .01, it will be way out of wack on the end of the axel. how did you guys do it?

  21. i noticed this happend before too but didnt think much of it. well i let the engine run for about 10 minutes ideling so if you consider that warm? i dont think the oil had a chance to warm up at all. glad to hear its normal though. i just bought 12 of them quart containers for like $20 or so i forget how much it was. what happens? are the clutch plates sticky or somehting? what causes this to happen? thanks for the reply.
  22. so when i start up the bike in nutral pull the clutch and shift up or down, it stalls. but if i start it in gear it will start up. i just put new dirt digger clutch plates in and i have a new cable every thing about that is adjusted properly. anyone know what the deal is?
  23. i have an old tank of gas thats been sitting in my bike for 6 months. is it bad for me to run my bike with this gas in it? will i blow my engine for it being to lean? i just wanted to start it up but didnt want to mix new gas in another 3 months when ill be able to ride it again. thanks
  24. a few days ago i woke up feeling quite miserable, very congested, sore throat, headache, achey all over,weak & other symtoms which could have been die-off symtoms. A friend of mine told me to take olive leaf(5 caps), I did, & within minutes ALL symtoms were totally gone. I felt wonderful!! My friend told me that whenever you get that feeling in your throat when you know your coming down with something just take 5 of those caps & within minutes your fungi or virus or whatever it is will be gone. then later in the day take 2 more. let me tell ya, I'm a believer. I'm going to make sure I always have olive leaf in my house.
  25. heres what us "professionals" use to tap the 4-40's. http://www.tapmatic.com/flash_tap.html the model we got will tap up to 3/8 alum and 1/4 steal. but for taping the carbs i would just get it started by hand then use a crescent wrench. i laughed when you went through to the other side when drilling. LOL
