  1. I think that there are better ways to break in a new engine, besides bagging the shit out of it in deep mud, just my 2 cents. But then again I could be mistaken.
  2. not sure how I missed this post, but I live in Red Deer, Alberta also used to live in slave lake went riding around there lots
  3. well I dont really want too but the Banshee is gonna have to go I've gota baby on the way and the savings account is gettin kinda low. I dont have any thing else to sell. 2004 banshee white with red frame pro circuit pipes and silencers K&N air filter pro-taper bars basically stock hardly used in the last year and ahalf. If anyone is interested up here in canada its located in RedDeer Alberta price is negotiable. sure will miss her tho.
  4. hey i live in red deer also got an 04 banshee, need people to ride with also need new places to ride.
  5. I wonder if it could be a coil thats getting fuct I've heard of that happening before. Sometimes when a coil gets hot it just shuts off then when it cools down it starts to work again I'm not sure what else to suggest man sorry
  6. I had a similiar problem with my 04, It would only run on one cylinder from closed to about half throttle, and from half up it was good. At first I thought it was a bad plug. But after sticking in a couple new ones it didn't change. After thinking about it I took the left side carb off and there was a tiny piece of dirt that was clogging the pilot jet. I cleaned it out and presto it was fixed. I think with yours it could be a piece of dirt floating around in your float bowl, and when you hold it wide open it tries to suck that piece of dirt through the main jet and it starves for fuel, and then when you let it sit and idle the dirt floates back to the bottom and it seems fine again. not sure tho, but I would check there first.
  7. First of all you are correct, you need insurance and registration to legally ride on public land. Fines for no insurance is like $2500, plus they impound your bike, or at least here in Alberta anyways. Other provinces could be different tho. Also what kind of riding do you want to do? mountains? trails? etc. Try and remember that Canada is the second biggest country in the world so it depends if you live in the east or the west. I am not familier with the east so I am not much help there. In my area there is quite a bit of variaty lots of trails alittle bit of dunes nothing like the dunes down there tho. Hills, lot's of muskeg. Every may long weekend we go to a place called Brule near Hinton, Alberta. It is in the Athabasca river valley it is all sand with hills and trails. It is alot of fun. I will post some pics when I get them scanned.
