Have you checked the bearings in the carrier and the swingarm? I had a problem once where the carrier bearings were ruined and caused the chain to stretch due to the excessive play. Eventually started throwing the chain before I realized the problem. Just another item to look into. I would just get a larger sprocket in front or a smaller rear (just a tooth up or down should give you the room you need to fit the chain). Nick

Yeah, I would definetly notify the police and let them know that the vin is missing tho. They may be interested or know something you dont (maybe the previous owner etched the vin number in another place or his initials). Plus if you did rebuild it and the cops caught up with you, you may lose the entire investment because it was "suspicious" without the vin. My shee and my brothers were stolen a few years ago just 3 days before Christmas out of our shed. They eventually caught the individuals trying to steal something else from close by and they admitted to taking ours. They said they parked them in the woods and mine had been stolen from them and the other had the motor and stuff taken from it but the frame was still there (cops never went to find the frame from what I know) Punks were juveniles and ordered to pay restitution but I have only seen about 100 bucks and my brother has seen even less. I think my old bike is still in the tri-state area (it was an '01 blue, all stock except for a complete set of holeshot tires front & rear, no tank stickers except a skull and cross bones on the left side of the tank, and a PRM rear skidplate with DG rear oval bumper that mounts off the rear swingarm). I tried to talk to the NJ courts to find out what the deal was with not getting my money but they were from NY and there was a problem between the two states communicating regarding these punks. They do have a black mark on their credit so if they ever go to do anything they have this on their record and have to pay it off if they ever plan on a new car, house, or any large purchase. But even my quad back or payment still will never equal the pain and hurt I felt when I woke up and found one of my most prized possesions stolen. Nick

I didn't start drinking till I was like 23 and no I dont really drink that often (I'm 27 now). I will give you a few stories tho. A few years ago I went down to Atlantic City for a buddies bachelor party. We had a limo for 10 of us on the way down (2 1/2 hours) we killed 2 30 packs of beer and then almost a whole handle of Capt. Morgan I was all kinds of wasted mostly because I hadn't eaten and I was the one who drank most of the Capt. We got to the hotel/casino around 2 or 3 and it was so obvious that I was wasted an undercover security guard tried to ID me (and I was only waiting for the elevator) but I tried to explain to him I didnt have my ID because they were checking me in. We got up to the room and I passed out on the floor in the room and my other half was in the bathroom. All the guys went downstairs to gamble while I lay passed out for a few hours. Forward to almost 8PM they guys come up to see if I was still alive and meantion hooters and I jump up and was ready to go. Went there then to a strip club. During our buddies lap dance on stage the stripper was grinding all over him and I remember watching her crotch and then I see this liquid dripping all over my him from her crotch and I start flipping out because I thought she just pissed all over him but I didn't realize she had a beer she had started to drink then pour down herself. My friends pointed it out and I quickly quieted up so I wouldn't get thrown out. Definetly had a great time! Another time I was down the shore (Belmar) drinking it up a huge local bar since my friend had a summer home down there I could crash at. Well drank my ass off, ended up going back to his house with everyone and we headed over to the beach to go for a swim. I ended up passed out in the sand while everyone else went swimming. Went back to the house and someone had opened up his neighbors house (my friend down there knew them and was cool with them so I guess they didn't mind to much since I never heard anything more about it). Anyway, I ended up on the roof of my friends house naked and wanted to jump from his roof to the roof of the house next door (maybe 10 foot gap) but my friends kept telling me not to do it so and I dont think I did but I have a pic of me later passed out on the front grass with my bathingsuit back on. Really crazy times. I tried to sum them up so they kinda jumpped around but I guess you had to be there. Nick

Tore into it today. It seems the problem wasn't with the fuel bowl itself it was the float being miss adjusted so it wasn't closing when the bowl was full and the fuel was coming from the overflow. after some playing around I got to about where it should be. leaks a bit but no where near as much as before. Thanks anyway tho guys! Nick

For some strange reason the screw in the bottom of my fuel bowl seems to have a leak (I dont remember there being a seal in there and I cant tighten it any more). It leaks from the screw and the drain hose. Does anybody have a cheap set of carbs they want to sell or even just the fuel bowl? Let me know whatcha got and what ya want for it. I need something quick so I can get back in the dirt! Nick

First off let me state it needs to be finished. Purchased it with a junk motor (somehow the clutch pushrod came through the side of the case). Anyway, installed a new motor and the bike just needs a few mis parts (exhaust brackets, a new chain and maybe one or two small parts) and someone with some time to get the bike going again. With the weather getting colder I have no time to finish up this project. Located in Northern NJ. Make an offer or maybe take the quad and some cash for a 4 stroke quad? How about NJ lift laws, complete BS. Tire size is limited to 6" over stock or 38" tall tires (which ever is less!) There are a bunch of other items involved with lifted truck in NJ. If anyone else has a real lifted truck in NJ you know what I mean. Lift Laws Suck!!! Nick
