i've never been for memorial day weekend...but isnt it one of the bigger weekends at LS?

from looking at the picture it looks as if you were running your bike to lean... If it was detonation the piston would have "holed more towards the center of the piston" before the edge of the piston melted or broke off....Its possible that it could have been caused by an air leak but for both sides to have an air leak at the same time is unlikely...unless the head was not torqued down. If the head wasn't torqued down the pistons would have seized from lack of lubrication from coolant washing off any oil on the cylinder and piston....

I know im just a girl and dont know anything BUT.....just a thought I think the reason your piston was screwed up was from detonation...which a lot of the time is caused from running too low of octane fuel, too much timing advance, a poorly shaped combustion chamber, an air leak, and possibly over heating the motor but hey.....im just a girl....so PLEASE correct me if im wrong guys

definately not because he is a cop...i actually work for a sheriffs dept...in dispatch and in corrections...so definately for the action he did rather than being a cop. i can understand what fireman said....but also agree with push the throttle..."a person who calls 911 is under a lot of stress, and its not a 911 operators decision to to gauge how serious the matter is" you are there to do what your paid to do... i know about 1 month ago we had an accident where a vehicle went off the road and hit a culvert...on impact the car caught fire...it was in another county but our units were closer....so our units were sent..BUT...the dispatcher from the other county failed to dispatch out her fire and ems units...she got fired .... not much different in my opinion..she didnt do her job correctly so she got canned
