I would recommend a banshee if you do not care about putting in the extra time and maintenence every once in a while. All my buddies have the 450's and 400's. I am just as fast as them in the trails. They pull on me a little bit when we drag but I just got another set of pipes and reeds. I havent rode with them yet. I should be able to beat them now, or atleast probably keep up with a lightly modded 450. I have had my bike down more than they have, replacing pistons and boring out the cylinders. They give me hell for that but Im sure when there bikes get 4-5 years old they will have problems which will cost them more money. I like being the only one to have a banshee. Get it, it will be something different.

I am looking at getting some new carbs. I have a single carb now and a single pipe as well. My bike is bored .30 over and has a pro design cool head. I was also going to get a new set of pipes in the near future. I was looking to get CPI's or Toomey T5's. I was also thinking about a port job maybe. I was wondering what would be the best kind of carbs + filters to get and also the best size? I do mostly trail riding and hill climbs. Some dragging. thanks Ben

well u just answered your own question right? You "beat the socks off modified banshees" so yea, then yours will seem slower compared to the kx250..... Its hard to get any four wheeler to compare to a 250 dirtbike. shit I didnt know it turned into this, this guy must have a life...

You should not need inspiration from other peoples banshees to keep yours. Do whatever you want. You are probably wasting your money if you buy a new one........
