  10. wow jeff why didnt you tell me we would have come up there. i had to beat-up on 450's and raptors all weekend at ls.i dont know why but its really movin out first 400 ft wich gave jason fits all weekend lol
  11. yea i dont know how big you can go with the cheetah's but there are limits with the cubs. i think 10mm stroke with a 68mm bore is the limit on the cubs.
  12. now that we know whats working you ready for mine?
  13. i have a slighty used set of cpi's been out twice no blueing or mud stains.
  14. im not going to post the numbers on the reed conversion its not mine. but like i said its was a lot more than 72. mine hasnt been back to the dyno for any tuning yet.first and only time on was 75 hp and way fat . did some tuning and and made some passes against some BIG freakin motors and all i can say i was smiling while they tried to run me down. im going to try and get it back out this week for some tuning ill try and post some updated numbers. 4mm cub on race gas
  15. F.A.S.T. has built two for us we werent disapointed.
  16. i know of one making a hell of a lot more than that from jeff. those reeds rock.now my cub motor on gas from him with stock reeds runs with a 10 mil pv alki bikes.im thinkin im goin with the big reeds next.i wouldnt spend that extra cash on a big motor were getting good numbers with the cubs and were doing it on gas. its fun to run those guys with those big alki motors and see there face when they look over and see you beside them.

    CUBS

mine just kills the tires thru 4 but in 5th and 6th it pulls like a monster. i missed the dyno work gets in the way sometimes so you guy's wil have to wait until next week. i just changed the mains to 165 and still has the stock 50 pilot ive onlly made a few adjustments at this point i had to move the needle up one clip but i think i wil have to replace it.

    CUBS

got the cubs running and with standard jetting on 38 mm strikers wich is way fat these things pull like nothing ive ever rode.did some jetting changes and when you stand on this thing in 5 th wholy crap jeff what did you do im going to need shoulder surgery. if this thing hooks up in any lower gear im in deep poo. going to the dyno tomorow for some tuning. 4mm stroke 68mm bore 38mm AS carbs cpi inframes cool head and it hauls arse thanks jeff
  21. yeah go ahead and buy a cool-head now and you can put it on your cubs later thats what i did.and the v-vorce reeds will help also. a say do mods that will tranfer over to your cubs. also get with fast to get your cubs his port work rocks. thanks to jeff at F.A.S.T. the cubs freakin haul a$$
  22. what are the specs on the lt set-up ? i mainly drag race and dune ride some trail but not as much. im running alot of motor and dont want to loose my hp to a swing arm
  23. this may sound a little over board to some but do they make a +1out +2 forward or even +3 forward. im going to run elka's with resi's and i need to go as forward as posible.if i have too i might even go plus 2 out to get the front tires as forward as posible.is this also considered long travel? oh its for a banshee .
  24. well keeping it plowed will keep it soft and make it easy to maintain imo sand will not help compaction however it will help if you want to keep it plowed. first i guess you need to determan what kind of surface you want. i like to keep the aledo track plowed and run it pretty soft it gives the riders more tire selections from turf tamers to prowedges to paddles if its round they run it. on a hard pack or slicked off style track the only thing you have to work during races is the start line and any ruts that start to show.some times this can be hard to keep the track surface consistant.stock or dirt style tires work well on this style of tack. im sure there are plenty of ideas out there but a soft track works for me it take a little time to get it ready but after we get it up and running i just make a pass down the track about every 5 or so quad passes.we water to keep the dust down this is a must ive seen times on a dirt track when you cant see the shut down area from the start line. come down to the aledo race june 11 and check it out.bring your quads and do a little heads-up racing.
