I dont know how much metal you have to take off or whatever but every shee Ive heard with fmf pipes and silencers has been pretty quiet :shrug:

Buy the 99. Also, look for the infamous chain wack on the cases. It wont hurt anythink mechanically but you would need a whole new top case half to fix it. It will be right above the front sprocket on the top case. Everybody listed everything else to look for. Good Luck!!! :thumbsup:

I bought a set of Rockets from Pete awhile ago now. Well I didnt even have them on my shee for 2 days doing t&t and the welds broke on the leftside pipe. I contacted him and he helped me out every step of the way on getting the problem fixed. Rockets were being asswads and pete called them personally and got stuff taken care of for me. Thanks a bunch Pete!!!!

The stock stuff is steel. I have a billet kickstart and cascade shifter and havent had a problem yet so yea I would say its worth it. I had to get a cut shifter from my pro pegs. Thats why I got the billet shifter in the first place

I acutally got ahold of them today. And of course, the fucker doesnt believe me. He even stated that they changed the welds on the pipes since the orig. owners. He said "we dont weld them as high now". Which what was the cause of this problem. Biggest set of douches I ever talked to. Im either going to get my shit welded by someone who acutally knows what they are doing or get shearers and take a shit in the pipes and send them to rockets :mad:

Well heres the deal, I bought this pipes from peterlocal22 (couldnt ask for a better guy to buy from and hes also trying to help me contact them) and he bought them from the orig. owners. Somewhere along the line, a dent got put into one of the pipes he said. I think it was the leftside pipe.I heard that the new owners had shitty welds from a bunch of people. The rightside pipe looks perfect. good penetrating on the welds an everything. The leftside pipe looks like the infamous steve wonder weld. Thats the side that cracked(not the rightside that I originally stated, just noticed I said that) right down the seem. I will take some pics of it and post them up -Dan
