  1. No the way I make money is if I can find an item, a hard to find item. So say for instance a client needs a specific part for a gun. Has to have it, absolutely needs it. I located a company in Canada called JB's that had the part for $25.00 plus $10s+h. What I did is charge the client $40 for the part and shipping and had it shipped right to his door. They just sent me payment and I handle the rest. Like I said, up until recently I usually work over the phone or in person but would like to take a stab at it online. Alot of the time clients aren't interested unless they just plain can't find what they are looking for. For instance the client I just mentioned with the gun part had been looking for it for over a year, all over. On the internet, magazines, gun shops and couldn't find it. It was a part that he had to have in order to use his gun. He was willing to pay $100 for it but I'd rather not screw him on the price and have a customer that will maybe deal with me again or tell their friends of my service.
  2. Just curious, how do you know it came from the factory with the molding. Every resource I found lists a part number for a 66 nova except the SS. Are you sure its an SS rocker panel?? Did you buy the car and it had the molding on it from the factory??? I can definitely investigate this farther. Are you sure you weren't duped into thinking its original but maybe the rockers were changed???
  3. Well it looks like to me it would be GM part #3885381/2 IF you wanted it for a non "SS". But you said supersport so therefore I'd have to say you either want a rocker panel molding for a non SS nova or nova SS clone or are just trying to give me an impossible to find item?? So which is it???
  4. This is what I received from my contact at Radio Flyer. If possible try to give me any other info or history to your bike and maybe I can try other avenues. "Good Afternoon Radio Flyer bicycles goes back as far as 1988. The seat was black and had white training wheels. It also said Radio Flyer on the frame. Please check to see if it is a Radio Flyer product. I was unable to find any bicycle in catalogs from 1970's Sincerely Anshu"
  5. Alright i'll see what I can find. You know I also can get you the red paint to repaint the bike if you ever decided to restore it. I'll let you know what I find.
  6. I don't take well to being rushed.... I need more info. Do you want all 3 for less than $2,000 combined?? Do they have to be complete?? I need more info.
  7. Hey Cotton, if able I need to know what color the seat is or was and what color the frame is. And if there is any distinguishing features or details that might help identify what model it is. Hopefully I can even maybe get some other info on it as well.
  8. So what color scheme were you looking for???
  9. Well being that they are so old its difficult to find specific model information. I'll keep looking and see if I can find one. I also found a place that sells general and I mean general minibike restoring tips, advice and parts. Not sure if you'd be interested or not. I've found a few different people that seem to have had different models but when it came right down to it, they weren't different. What it was is a previous owner had changed things. For instance someone had one that didn't have a headlight but after I talked with him and told him what to look for he found that it did at one time have a headlight but must've been removed by a previous owner. I'll see what else I can find. And if you know of anyone else that's trying to locate something please forward them my webpage. http://www.webspawner.com/users/anythingfinder/index.html
  10. I can probably find a Banshee 1:12 Diecast model. I have to wait until I get home tonight before I can let you know. I believe the 2 colors offered are blue, or red and white. I'll try to find a pic to send you to see if its what you want.
  11. So you're looking for like a parts manual???
  12. Well i've temporarily designed a quick website to help promote my business. It's a business i've been doing on the side for a few years but usually by phone contact. I'd like to take this to a new level and therefore would like to start these transactions on the internet. If anyone is searching for that unusual or hard to find item give my site a looksee. I've been tracking down various parts and items for years for people that didn't know where else to look. Feel free to stop in and sign my guestbook. http://www.webspawner.com/users/anythingfinder/index.html
  13. About an hour southwest of Albany, NY....
  14. What about trading shee and cash for a 96 Pontiac Firebird Formula. Has 89,000 miles, LT1, 6-spd, t-tops, cold air intake, new exhaust, remote start, alarm, cd player. I was looking to get $5500 but would consider maybe your shee and $1000 for my car. Let me know if interested.
  15. That's exactly what i'm looking for but I need to find one about 1000 miles closer to NY.
  16. Price, we need a price man.
  17. Hey I might be interested. I'm looking to get my house refinanced, closing tomorrow and will have some cash left over. Was looking to get another banshee. What's your zip code so I can get an idea of where you're located???
  18. Thanks for the good advice Minkia...... I just have a couple more questions.... Where or what do you use to determine prices on various parts?? Do you compare what the part costs new and compute a percentage of that??? I don't want to give away this stuff at ridiculous prices but I also would like it to move rather quickly...... Here was a quick list of what I could think of off the top of my head.... Swingarm Rear shock Front Shocks A-arms rims/tires nerf bars rear dg bumper front dg bumper engine plastic rear brake assembly front left brake assembly front right brake assembly radiator brand new seat FMF pipes silencers frame handlebars rear axle chain
  19. Yeah I'm sure, the kid that had it before me didn't like the shaved fenders that were on both of them when he bought them. So he got new plastic. I have all paperwork on both if necessary. So here's a list of the major parts...... NYUK if you have a few mins can you give me some ideas for prices on the following. And also if i'm leaving something out. I have lots of time to spend shipping, taking pics and listing on ebay(or elsewhere), I was just mainly curious if it would pay off.... Swingarm Rear shock Front Shocks A-arms rims/tires nerf bars rear dg bumper front dg bumper engine plastic rear brake assembly front left brake assembly front right brake assembly radiator brand new seat pipes silencers frame handlebars rear axle chain rear sprocket
  20. Another pic of the 98...
  21. Here's the 98...... The only thing that is wrong on the 98 is that it has a dent in the left front rim that when you are cranking wide open down the road you can feel a vibration. It never bothered me, my wife or my cousin but some people might hate it. I went out this past sunday and was worried i'd have a hard time starting it. It hadn't been started since november. 4th kick and it fired, let it warm up good for 3 mins or so and was ripping around on the snow. As an added note, I put newer/better tires on the 98 than what is on it in the pic.
  22. Yeah I don't have much for mods, but what i've seen and heard people pay for parts is ridiculous. From handlebars, steering stems, hubs, axles, rotors, cable clamps, to headlights, taillights, a-arms, swingarm, gas tank, and radiator. I know if everything is sold you can make some money but i'm just not sure if i'd make $1800 worth. I'm located near Albany, NY and it runs but it idles way high without touching the throttle. I'm pretty sure that its just an intake leak but have been too busy to even look at it since the day it started winding real high. I'm also trying to sell my 98 which is in much better shape and runs great but doesn't have the mods that this one has. The problem is most people in my area come just to look at it. They aren't serious. That one i'm trying to get $2300 for. I should probably start a list of parts just to see what all I could sell and see what I could sell the parts for to make them cheap for buyers but to make my $1800.
  23. Just curious if its worth parting out a banshee vs selling it. I'm looking to get rid of my 96 and currently isn't running because it needs the intake gasket replaced and need to get $1800. Its definitely not in great shape, leaks a little tranny oil, has some welds on the bottom of the tranny case and on the shifter side peg. But it has quite a few aftermarket parts that i'm curious to see if I could make $1800 off of the parts. It has pipes, silencers, nerf bars, ok plastic(no cracks or breaks), dg bumpers, holeshot tires decent shocks all the way around, decent rims, rebuilt rear and front right brake calipers. There is so many people that need parts compared to the number of people that are looking to buy a banshee.
