You should have at least riddin the Yamaha 450 at least once first. I guarantee you would have bought that before the Honda. But anyway, Hope your happy with it, thats all that matters.

You're right, it did start with the Tit flash. However, they (FCC) are not just regulating Howard Stern, all DJ's are going through this, Stern is just the most popular so everyone hears his name. The local morning show here (Drew & Mike) made a comment yesterday about something they were reading, they said, "well, we would read this whole thing to ya, but we don't want to get fined again" I also read that cable T.V. would be next. You have to understand that the FCC is not some large entity to govern all media. It's actual small in comparison to the capita of the U.S. and is subject to political pressure. Right now they are set on censering what we can hear on the radio. Like I said, they have mentioned that cable T.V. is next.

If I remember correctly, the difference between the PWK and the PWK Air Striker is that the A.S. has vent tubing that circles over the carb so when you jump and land the fuel will not fill the vent tubing. This is supposed to prevent possable bogging when jumping/landing. The A.S. also has fins to direct the air to the center of the carb on the air inlet side, this is supposed to improve throttle response and top end airflow.

Mcaf, without going on and on about the same thing over and over, just go back and read what I said. No "I" don't think that it's Bush's fault that people lost their jobs. What "I" basically said was that the poeple who lost their jobs "NOW" don't care about past politics, they will for the most part lay the blame on Bush. As far as the rest of his politics, well thats just a completley different story. Go back and read the very first post in this thread.

You are obviously a die hard republican. Reagan and Bush did good and Clinton reaped the rewards, thats what your saying. Not really true, but you would argue it is, just like a die hard republican Basic poli-sci: Republican: For statis quo, keep the rich, rich, and the poor, poor. Big on Military Democrat: Help the poor, even if you hurt the rich. Cut Military. (yes I know those are very basic ideals) Now, obviously we can't have it completly either way, thats why this country is great. Sometimes we have republicans, sometimes democrats. Hopefuly it all evens out at the end. What would be best? a Moderate? Clinton was much closer a moderate than Bush is, hell, Bush sr. was closer a moderate. The problems with this Bush will not come as rewards to the next president, (I'm not talking about the economy here) but as problems to US as Americans. So those of you who reap the benifits of this extra spending (ships, planes, tanks), I'm happy for you, I know you'll be voting for Bush. But i don't think the people who lost their jobs as of late will see it you're way. And will you please explain to everyone how "raising taxes" helps the economy.

If your an economics major you should know that the economy always slows down when a change of presidency is eminent -I.E. a 2 term presidency about to end- It's what happens after that shows how well a NEW president handles such an economy. Bush did a terrible job, he took a while to do anything at all about it and by then we were already in a major defecit struggling to recover. I don't know if there is anyone I would really put any faith into to take over for him at this point. None of the democrats seem to be on thier game. So It will most likely be 4 more years of a struggling economy that Bush will call a flurishing economy. (flurishing if your already rich) However in the latest opinion polls it looks like a democrat (anyone) has a 54% - 46% edge right off the bat. (with a 10% margin for error of course)

About 1 or 1 1/2 years ago they did a shoot out with about 6 different quads including the Banshee. The YFZ wasn't out yet. In head to head comparisons the banshee was best at making people want one (or something like that) they said that the powerband was second to none and it could be modded to be the fastest VERY EASILY but they were all STOCK. If I remember correctly the machines were Banshee, DS650, Raptor, Z400, Predator, and the 400EX. The 400EX was pretty much last in every catagory and the Banshee was second in overall speed to the DS650. Also the Banshee won in sand drags to 300ft. (I think thats what it said) The predator was faster than the Z400 (and almost beat the Raptor) but the Z's lap times were far off better than the Predator. But remember, the YFZ wasn't out yet. The thing is they didn't say to much about the Banshee except what I previously mentioned and that due to EPA regulations it would be on it's way out in the near future.

My first bike was a 86 CR250, two weeks later I bought a brand new 93 CBR600F2, about 15 machines later I own is a 2003 YFZ450 and an 01 RM125. At one time I owned 4 machines, 86 250R, 89 LT250R, 01 SV650S (Canadian), and the 97 Banshee. In 02 I sold every thing but the Banshee, didn't need 3 quads and watched a good friend of mine get run over on his Ninja right in front of me by an old lady not paying attention. He is lucky to be alive.

I sold mine in September and bought a 450, but I still have a SHIT LOAD of parts!! It was a bit difficult to part with, had it since new in 1997, but my ridding style had changed and so did my patience for working on it so I sold it. Still miss it whenever I see another bad ass shee though.

I go there quite frequently, most of them know me by name. I will be sure to mention the Noss products next time I go there. Hell, I've probably spent about $10,000 over the last 5 years or so with all the machines I've owned.

i think the reason the 450 is beating the shee is its not set up right, i dont have any problem dusting the 450, unless the guy on the 450 has tons of mods and is a equil rider..... Blue Duece, buddys shee is not set up for MX, more for dunes. My Shee, the Yellow one, was set up for MX. My Shee couldn't quite beat my buddys she in a drag, but I could take him in MX easy. I thought we were more on the topic of "Drag Racing" which is why I mentioned it first. But as far as MX, I definetly like the 450 More.
