I have no idea what size pilots they are. I just got back from a ride and it was 100% better at 1 1/2 turns out, Brian M.

I have tried what the book says on 2 turns out from bottom for stock carbs. It was still like it wasn't hitting right on the low end till the powerband kick'd in. After the band kicked in it was fine. I am going to try 1 1/2 turns today. I went up all the way to 3 and saw no difference other than more smoke and real rich sluggish and didn't want to idle after warm up. Brian M.
