If you do the DC conversion you NEED to run a rectifier, you don't need to a run a battery but it's nice to have one. -

Running a 6" OnX by Baja designs and a small trail tech battery mounted to the CDI relocation bracket under the tank, it's worth doing the conversion. Ran a set of Trail Tech Scmr16 Hid's before the led bar. -
