    Doesn't look like its into the weld that holds the arm on so I would run it. That piece has the inner tube running the whole lenght of it so if that piece breaks off your swingarm won't fall off.

    I have some carbon fiber look Banshee tank covers to cover up the stock black gas tank inbetween your plastic. I have sold a bunch on here before and they went fast. They look great and are resistant to gas. $39 shipped each
