  1. roll design used to make a set of heal guards for the banshee. i dont know if they still do. it might be tough to find a set that will work with stock foot pegs.

The Roll guards are the ones to get, but they are currently out of production. They are pretty highly sought after at the moment, so if you find a set for sale, more than likely it will cost you a good chunk of change.

  2. Like the description states, I am looking for a builder in or around Portland. I know most of you will say to support our sponsors but I would like to support my local economy. Let me know of someone who will do some porting for me.

Cascade Innovations, Twister, or White Knuckle............ All of which are in Boring, OR.

    (reccomended in that order).

Depending on how exotic, you wanted to go, I might be willing to do the work as well.ph34r.gif

  3. i have one, you cant just get the link, you also need the shock. elka wouldnt market a part if it didnt do what they want it to do. i like mine, and wouldnt go back to stock. but they are very expensive as loco and you already no. very high quality stuff, the dog bone even has its own skid plate.

    I couldn't have said it better myself.headbang.gif

  4. The tuning parameters of such a thing would be vastly different. In our experience, two strokes require a MUCH different approach than 4 strokes.

I agree. Putting an injection system on a Banshee is 100% doable and it's been done. The mechanical systems are not very impressive. The EFI systems are much better, but are expensive to do correctly........and then there is the whole other issue of putting it together and tuning it (requires experience that most folks don't have).

With that said Gigot racing will put one together for you and tune it. Kevin is the only guy out there who I feel is 100% competent doing this commercially on a Banshee. I can't quote what he charges for such a thing, but I am pretty sure it's over $1200 for a turn key setup.

  5. Actually they are only 38. Says TM38 on the sides of them and they only measure 38mm. If cascade sold you 41's I'd go try and get some of your money back.

Did you measure them? I think they are bored out. They are not really an off-the-shelf deal.shrug03.gif

  6. Thanks for the correction mark. I haven't had any interest in it, chances are it will still be in my garage next time you come up to shoot shit. You'd be able to see your little bastard banshee child again. haha!

Here's a couple clips I dug up last night.

First one is a 770 raptor spraying, second is just a solo run, last is racing a 4mil FAST drag bike and a stock YFZ. lol

    Let's see some more videos!

I suspect it must be hard to take a video of everyone racing that bike?jesterlaugh.gif

  7. You make any sweet 1-off parts for your mustang? Give me a call one of these days, haven't heard from you in a while. You need to come up and massacre another lawnmower with us.

    - Jared

I have not made anything for the Stangeranger. I do need to fix a bunch of stuff on it.

I would love to come down and what you shoot yourself again. Seriously, I am trying to get down that direction here this year. I'll let you know when I get something worked out.

  8. I would think it would be hard to claim a carrier housing like that. Alot of companies have built those, RAD mfg., RPM, Magnum, LSR and others. I cannot recall if it was RAD or RPM that was offering aluminum stock style swingarms similar to this one a while back, but one of the companies were doing it even before LSR was offering there aluminum drag swingarms.

I won't claim the carrrier since the one I made was a rip-off of a RAD carrier. The only difference was that RAD engraves their name and some numbers in the carrier near the seals. Mine did not have that. I'm pretty sure it was RAD that was making ally swingarms too, but they usually were not for stock carriers (same sort of design though). RPM was making aluminum axles before most other people though,,,,,,,,,
