  1. hay guys for the past 15 years or so ive been into them pretty heavily. cars not plains. and for the past couple years ive been mostly dealing with custom made rock crawlers. anything from toyota hilux to custom tube rock buggies to mercedes unimogs from germany. but now im getting out of that hobbie cuz i found a new hobbie.....atv's. im trying to sell my unimog email me for pics. [email protected]
  2. do you think rockets are too much pipe for a stocker though, i like t6's and i know there good for stockers but i might do engine work in the future
  3. man for me i think stock is plenty fast, but ide love some pipes. dont plan on doing a hole lot. but trust me i know me and that couold all change. i just have a feelin that after you start messin with pistons porting and reeds and all that stuff your just asking for small problems and headaches am i wrong? it always runs mint now thats its stock
  4. thats great but i have a completely stock 04 with maybe 14 hours on it. if that. does anyone have these pipes or know how they respond to a stock shee.
  5. hay bud i think i talked to you befor on here. im from norfolk.
  6. i really love how they look but im wondering if they are mostly a dune or drag pipes. i do alittle bit of everything here in massachussetts. powerlines, woods, and sandpits mostly. will they give me added lowend compared to stock or all topend and mid? I wanna run my banshee stock for now its an 04. but eventually ill do the filter pipes and rejet. i want a do it all pipe, are the rockets geared more for just draggin and dunes or are they a do it all pipe?
  7. wow. that makes me really wanna tone it down a notch. i rode today for a couple of hours with a friend and we were flyin. one wrong move and who knows. i got kids a nd a family and they need me and i need them, stuff like that makes step back and say wow am i really within my limits, or way beyond them but i just dont know it? what ever it is lets all be carefull and enjoy our sport and hobbie. have fun but make it home in one peace.
  8. ok but maybe i could leave those screws were they are now and turn different ones to get a little more fule into the carbs.
  9. it was the screw on the side of the carbs
  10. hay guys I got a brand new 04 shee about a month ago. runs great but seems to idle high. my friend who is pretty knowledgable with quads both 2 and 4 strock said it was lean. we checked the carbs and the screw was out 2.5 turns so we opened to 3.0 turns it has more botton end but still idles high. any suggetions
  11. its mostly powerline type stuff sandpits and woods too.
  12. should i get cpi's anyone have anything negative to say about them. or should i stick to something more mainstream like tommy, fmf, etc. i have a stock 04 banshee. maybe t6's and leave everything else stock exept the airbox and rejetting is the way to go
  13. what do you guys think of the one joehead24 is selling in the forsale forum, looks clean to me. and affordable. i wonder how many hours are on it.
  14. Hay whats up fellas. im 29 and just bought a house that has all kinds of quad trails around it. so it was a no brainer to buy one. i went out and bought a 4x4 yamaha kodiak 450, we got a lot of mud trails as well as fast dry trail up here in massachussetts. I got the kodiak cuz its good all year round and i needed it as a utility also, plus its easy for my wife to use. HOWEVER for years i always loved the looks of the banshee and dreamed of owning one one day. ive been saving for a while now and i got the wife convinced that im getting another quad at the other end of the spectrum from our kodiak.THE BANSHEE. question is what is a good price out the door for a new one. what kinda deals have you guys got ? the place i got my kodiak has two black ltd.s for 5400 out the door. thats a sweet deal i think but i really want a blue one. should i buy one thats a couple years old ? or is that risky?
