I ride mostly powerlines woods and sand pits and small tracks made on the powerlines. I guess what i want is +2 up1. So does that mean my wheels will be 1 inch further up? what does that benifitt? longer wheelbase? also should i get normal or a Long travell set up? ebay has like leagers and elkas (long travel) for about 1700 bucks. is that what i need or is that overkill. how about maybe like some Wicked a-arms and some works shocks? maybe the black widow series. help me out guys i dont know a hole lot about front ends and what is good for certain applications and types of riding. thanks.

ya I dont know what i was thinking. Well what happened was I fell in love with this UNIMOG in my area and almost bought it. Wife said if i get it somethings gotta go so I was thinking banshe since it was worth the most. But i already have a big jeep. no need for a unimog. heres the unimog i almost got -

thanks for the kind words. i dont wanna sell it but i was lookin into gettin a UNIMOG (mercedes). wife said befor you even consider that ,one quad has to go. my other quad is a kodiak 450. and thats good in the snow, mud, what ever. even though the banshee is 50 times faster than it and more fun. the kodiak is like a do all machine that i can even take my kids on. so i figured it would be wiser to let the banshee go even though its my pride and joy. -
Here is my banshee i have to sell "too many toys" ANy ways i bout this bike brand new from the stealership. I added new chrome rocket pipes had it rejetted and had vforce reeds added and a proflow air plate and a uni clamp on filter. the fenders are trimmed and it has new holeshot xc's on the front (cuz i punctured one of the stock tirees). Any ways the bike runs perfect looks perfect. im very miticulouse. it has hardly no bbot scuffs on the fenders and the plastics still shine bright like new cuz i always washed it directly after every ride and used very soft detailing cloths so it would keep the plastics lookin brand new. The work was done by K&k ATV. very well known and reputable mechanics/ and shop. I live in Massachusstes $5300.00 email: [email protected]

whats the point of nerfs if you dont ride mx. also whats the reason for new bars if i like the rise of the stock ones and for the records i got the pro flow adapter, i gotta edit my shees upgrade list. I just think nerfs would get hung up on roots and rocks out here. Also i thought they were so mx racers tires wouldnt lock up. -
They said they would install them and do the seat and everything for free if let them take pics for there web page since they dont have pics of banshee's with there stickers on it. any one have any pics of shee's with k&k graphix. also the ones they have in are white black and red just like my shee. how do ya think theyd look

i agree with loco on this one. you know what i was thinkin. how much R&D money went into creating those plastics for the banshee. will they even brake even. I havnt heard of anyone liking them anywere eccept just now on this thread. no offense, every one has the right to do what they want with there banshees weather its cut fenders swap colors or even buy dumb ass craptor wannabee plastics . maybe they will be popular over seas somewere and meijer will make a fortune.

i saw that and i was like are they doing this for publicity for new bikes and all the new 4stoke technoligy etc. to push the cutting edge technology envelope or are they being honest.........then i thought what the hell do i care what they think of the banshee. mine flys it gives me hours of fun and big adrenalin rush, who cares what they think. its origianl theres nothing that looks or acts like it and most of all .................I LIKE IT!!!!!

so i was gettin ready to enter this great sand pit area with lots of little trails and shouts with soft sand that everyones been riding for years. i just got into this sport less than a year ago. there was a pick up with 2 quads and a dirtbike gettin loaded up. the guys said "dont go down there" theres ana a-hole that doesnt want anyone there anymore, ssays hes the land owner and there gonna develope it. THey told me to just blow by him if he waved his arms and cut back into the power lines were your safe. so off i went though its not my style to blow by people who are trying to kick me out . i more or less wanted to here the truth for my self. so i came acrsoss the corner only to be face to face with the land owner and the environmental police who checked if i was registered which i was. to be honest with you i was friendly with them and they were friendly with me. They did say theres no more riding in the area cuz of liabilities and all. and that there gonna devolpe it and so on and so forth. i told him i understand and ill respect that and off i went back home. this is a big play area that you HAVE TOO cross to get back to the powerlines to get to other places now im screwed i gotta find alternative roots or new places to ride. i was so pissed today i wanted to throw up. all this money invested in machines and were lossenare riding areas little by little. I know someday ill need a duel sport so i can ride from my house to diffrent locations and hit trails and ride public roads home with plates blinkers and all.

well if hes smart , hell do what i did. he can get a utility quad and have the best of booth worlds. but...... the banshee itch never goes away no matter what cream you put on it , until you do what i did. i got a yamaha kodiak 450 first cuz i thought it would make me happy allaround and it is fun i go muddin all the time. i thought it was fast until i got my banshee. but now i have booth. its fun my wife can drive the kodiak cuz its automatic. To be honest with ya though if were to have only one quad and it had to be a utility i would definatly get the 04 kawasaki prarie 700.Not an 05 750. Is it just me or is it funner to drive around and powerslide on a solid rear axle quad. the independant ones work well crawling but the solid rear axle makes screwin around alittle funner in my opinion just my two cents.

hay banshee, i will probably save my money and get aarms and shocks. and maybe a rear axle as well. and i did buy that used proflow filter plate that someone had posted befor, but it hasnt arrived yet. what about rear shock, less neccesary then the front shocks?

what are the best prices youv all seen for a set of 4. also is there any real advantage to gettin the ones with the beadrings on booth side rather than one side. keep in mind i ride recreational and i dont compete in races and tuff. if im fine with my stock rims now why would i need duel beadlocks and not just the one sided ones. as of now im just gettin them for bling factor. what do you think guys.

well i did rocket pipes reeds uni filter jetted. now what. im thinkin elkas would smooth me out and make me go faster. A-arms i want ones like loco's got just an inch wider. i dont think i need these super wide ones cuz i dont do mx really. plus if i still keep the front end narrow i can make it threw narrow places, and i would stabalize me a bit, but is worth spending over 500 bucks just to get an inch wider on either side? or should i go with the bling factor and a get a set of black carbon hiper wheels? help me out guys
