So it is actually a waiste to buy one for the banshee???

Has anybody installed a rev box, was wondering if it is worth buying and how does it work, are there any huge hp gains with this product??? :ermm:

It can be done with a banshee for sure, there is nothing wrong with your setup, I did hare scrambles for 2 years on a shee, I am not sure how long your races are but here in South Africa the length of such a race is between 150 - 400km long, so first of you need to be extremely fit, the banshee will take alot out of you because of its suspension, so you need a good suspension, some aftermarket shocks, A-Arms, swingarm, axle, and a good steering stabilizer and don't forget a long range fuel tank. And I also found that a twist throttle is much more relaxing than a thumb throttle as well. And very important, attach some tyre weld on your shee for punctures, and try to take a hydrapack with lots of water as you will dehydrate during the race. Good luck!

I am currently rebuilding the engine, I replaced the standard crank with a 4mm Hotrod crank with 5mm long rods. The pistons I am using are the wiseco pro lite 1.5 mm oversize banshee pistons. I received a gasket set with the crank and conrods. My problem is as follows, when I installed all the components and after it I turned the magneto to find that the pistons are 3mm above the barrels and this will make the pistons hit the head. What I thought of then is to lazer cut 2 alluminium spacers which are 2mm thick and then place a gasket underneath and a gasket on top of the spacers which will be installed under the barrels. This will then lift the barrels enough. Is this the correct way or not? :shrug:

Hi guys, I bought me a new wiseco 4mm Hotrod stroker crank and a set of 1.5 oversize wiseco pistons. My question is what size domes do you think I should use on the head, and what should the expected horsepower be on the current setup??? 4mm Hotrod Stroker Crank 1.5 Oversize Wiseco Pistons FMF Fatty PowercoreII pipes Standard size carbs Coolhead 19cc domes Reed Valves Prow Flow Airfilter with no lid Ported as well Will I be in the mid 50's hp and are the 19cc domes a good setup or should I go bigger?

Well it is not for me, a guy on another forum asked this question, he parted his YFZ out, and now all that is left is the swingarm, so he asked if you can do this.

Is it possible to fit a YFZ swingarm to a banshee, has anybody done this, what mods will it need????

Thanx for all the replies, I am sorry for the confusion guys, but the motor is already been ported previously, the entire setup will be for MX and not drag/trail riding, another thing is I am currently running the stock carbs, but I will be changing to the 34mm carbs and change the pipes to T5's or T6's, still deciding on wich toomeys. The piston size will be the 66mm wiseco pistons. According to me (I could be wrong) but 66mm is a blaster size piston, is it not?????? Again thanx for the help guys!!!!

Hi guys, hope you can help me with some info I am not so clued up with engine mods, I am about to redo the entire motor, I am changing the motor to a 4mm stroker, it will have the wiseco stroker crank in and 66mm wiseco pistons in, the setup will be also a cool head, ported, FMF Fatty powercore II pipes, Pro Flow air filter with no lid, jet kit. What do you guys think of this setup, will the Hp range be between 55-65 Hp???? Thanx guys!

Check the magneto, if you wash your bike, after washing it take it for a spin around the block just to dry it up, it could be that the magneto rusts up.

I've seen most of your shees, and the thing that puzzles me the most, is how the hell do you keep them so clean and spotless, I mean like the engines are so clean, the plastics are spotless, how do you guys do it?

Can you please help me, I have about 300 acres of land and want to develop a couple of good quad racing tracks, an enduro track, mx track and a flat track, but I want examples of tracks. Is there a site or anything on the net which have examples of tracks or track plans, anything. Thanx.
