So both pilots can be different onside smokes perfect and ones a forest fire is it alright to run two different pilots?

My buddy has a banshee with pro circuit pipes and 34 mm carbs kehien(sp?) he says at idle its fine but as soon as you touch the throttle one side lets out a big puff of smoke and looks like a forest fire?? The motor is fresh nothing burnt up or anything anyone have any input on this??? THanks guys
