How much better is a noss head compared to a stock head ported?

I can't decide what to do with my head. Everyone is telling me get the head shaved, get it ported, get a noss head. What is the best option?

I just put my cpi inframes on and love the power gains and want more, what should I do next to make a nice difference. My other mods are pro design pro flow with K&N and a +4 timing degree key.

Got my cpi inframes today and put them on right away. They are very nice with some fitment issues, but nothing to cry about. Now where should I start with the jetting at? I have a 2004 banshee stock motor with cpi inframes and pro design with K&N with no lid, temp. is around 85-90 down here close to New Orleans.

What is a good set of carbs to upgrade to on a stock motored banshee?

I tried to drill through the tap when it first happened, but I gave up kinda quickly, because I was aggrevated. Is there any aftermarket carbs that I can upgrade to that come with idle screws?

I was eliminating my TORS today and everything was going fine, but when I went to tap the hole for the idle screw the tap broke off in the carb! I can get another stock carb fairly cheap, but are there any aftermarket carbs worth putting on a fairly stock shee?

I just installed the pro design pro flow with K&N filter. I will be leaving the snorkel and lid off completely. This is my first mod on my 04 banshee everything else is stock. Where should I start off with the jetting?

Pipes are not far off. I'm still undecided between the cpi and t5s.

For the 15-41 gearing is there any particular brand of sprocket everyone using and where to get them from? What is the gearing from the factory anyway?

Should I just get a K&N filter that goes in the stock box or should I get something else? My 04 banshee is bone stock and i'm not looking to get crazy with it just yet.

Thanks for the info it sounds like i'll be whipping his ass in no time. I am kind of new to this 2 stroke stuff but if I can make a Ford 4.6 SOHC make 501rwhp I think I can learn this.

What K&N should I get? Just a stock replacement filter? What's the deal with removing the air box? I'm kind of new to this, explain 41-15 gearing.

I have a brand new 04 banshee, it is bone stock and it is not even broken in yet. A friend of mine has a Raptor with a pipe and jetted. What will I need to blow him away.
