  1. Well i have a 2004 white and red banshee that im considering selling. I have had this bike since April 9th and it has been ridden only 2 times. It still has the pre-mixed gas from the factory when they set it up as i waited so i could take it home. I know your wondering why I am selling this so here goes. I initially wanted a yfz450 and my friend went out and bought the one at the dealer ship before i knew they even had it in stock. Well turns out he wants a banshee but he has a yfz450. So i say to him bro i will go buy the banshee and we can swap b/c there was no way he could afford another bike. I go and buy the banshee and bring it home to find out that his yfz was stolen the night before. I thought about keeping it but after 2 short rides i found out that its not what i am looking for in a bike. So now i have a bike that i didnt even want.. I bought i brand new for 6000 OTD and am considering offers...I can get pics soon if i have to but i dont see the purpose in that considering its brand spankin new and you know what a 04 white/red banshee looks like...No trades..
  2. go to www.bluetraxx.com click movies and scroll down to the bottom they have a banshee racing a mustang..
  3. I have a new 2004 shee and its about 2 weeks old and im ready to replace the stock setup already. My question is what kind of filter toomey 2 into 1 or K&N , etc. I ride mostly hills and flat grounds and some dusty areas, so should i remove the lid and buy an outerwear? Lets hear what you recommend for a better breathing system?
  4. thanx for the tips guys..all of the information sounds excellent. I am ready to replace the stock air filter right now where to buy and how much is my question? I am running it rich for the first few tanks (24:1) then i will set in at a 32:1 yamalube 2r mix with premium gas. I am trying to buy some toomey t5's for the shee as we speak but i dont know what will happen just yet (any other suggestions on pipes anyone.. i want mid to top range power and lots of it) And finally i hate the stock tires they suck ass. I have raced it 3 times won all three but they were close b/c i couldnt stop spinning until i hit 4th gear.. but thanx for the help all and i look forward to hearing more tips from you guys on what i just asked... -Justin

  8. I went for a long ride today and the shee got very dusty. It is the first time that I plan on washing it since i have only had it for a couple weeks or so..I bought me some good degreaser for thew tires and some WD-40 to spray on the plastics when i get them back clean, but is there any pre-cautiosn that i need to take before washing it? Will it hurt it to spray it all over with the waterhose? Any help is much appreciated, thnx for any replys...
  9. A friend went and talked to them and he got them to 5800 without even showing any cash and he is only 17, i bet he could do alot better with his dad there and they lay cash on the table while they are discussing it...
  10. what is a fairly good-good price for a new shee out the door ?
  11. well I dont need the help but my cousin does. Just 2 days ago he bought a new 2004 Kawasaki 700 v twin and he needs full plastics for it. To make a long story short when he was loading it up in his truck the loading ramp cables snapped when his front tires were on the truck causing the ramp to slide and his bike flipped over on it's side smahing his plastics. Anyone know of where he can find some more for it? He has the carbon fiber plastics on it and would like to go back with those, but he might consider the orange color as well. Any help is appreciated..thanx
  12. Which bike will win in a race between these two bikes both being a 2004 and both of them bone stock. The kfx rider weighs about 240 and the shee rider weighs about 160. What bike and by how many lengths? Also if u have a vid of these 2 bikes in action plz post it..thx for any replys
  13. Anyone have a Pro Circuit or T5 clip?
  14. anyone have a clip of what pro-circuits sound like?
  15. anyone have a clip of the pro-circuits or toomeys, one of each would be nice
  16. Do the PC and Toomeys sound alike? Anyone have clips of either of them?
  17. whats a good reason to take the pro-circuits over the T5's and vise versa? pipes are so strenuous
  18. Thanx for all the replys.. I have gave it alot of thought and have made my final decision to get a mid/top end pipe so would you'all buy the T5's or The Pro Circuits? I hate asking alot of questions about stuff like this but i really need some pipes b/c my shee is just begging for air and where better to get tips that the official banshee hq boards
  19. If i decide to get a good mid/top range pipe what can i do to make my bottom end power pull hard until the pipe in the mi/top range kicks in?
  20. What would you classify the banshee as, more a top end bike or a bottom end bike..I have only had my shee for a couple weeks and havent really had the time to really check it out? Pro-Circuits are closely comapered to the Toomey T5's ?
  21. I just recently purchased my 2004 banshee and I am looking for a set of pipes for my style of riding. I don't plan on any major motor work but I plan on simple mods such as: pipes, air filter, jets, etc..I do mostly trail riding and some field and wide open riding. I want some pipes that will really wake this shee up. A pipe that will pull good on bottom end and still have a top end pull would be excellent. FMF Fattys, T5's, Pro-Circuits, etc. can anyone help? Thanks in advance for any replys
