Alright I went back and checked compression again and Im reading 98 and 105! I cant believe Im loosing compression like that! I have hardly rode her! I bought her brand new in o3 and was out hurt for a yr. Only one year of ridin and already a ring maybe? What do yall think? Should I go ahead and get some wisecos? When do most of yall change? A month ago I was washing my shee and rode it down to my garage and it suddenly lost all power. I could start it but when I give it gas it sounds like its sucking air. I took off the seat and made sure i didnt forget the towel i had covering the intake. -That was good i had cleaned the k&N and put it back in. -I was out of plugs so I pushed it in and went and got some. put new plugs in couple of days later and it was fine Well I went ridin trails Sun. and rode for about 2 hrs and same thing happened. I can start easily and it will idle, but when I give it throttle it boggs like its sucking for air? Put some new plugs in on the trail and nadda! I took it down to a friend of mine and we - took off the carbs ( tuned fine and clean) -Checked compression ( good ) Now where do I go? Im stuck now. My mods are only FMF gnarlies, lightened flywheel, twist throttle. Havent done any major mods to it yet?

not sure. I don't think so. i think the last number on the tire and the rim need to be the same

2002 shee, little riding time and has been kept indoors. Renthal bars, 13 tooth front sprocket, moved radiator overflow to front, lightened flywheel, AC pro-peg nerfs, FMF Gnarlies ( no dents or blueing yet!) power core II silencers K&N Filter with adapter, parking brake block off ( cascade ), motion pro twist throttle. Still has the stock tires on it, in good shape would like to get $4400 OBO, owe on a loan. Live outside Asheville NC

Well Fellas I hate to do it but Im in a bind and need to take care of the family. Just had a beatiful little girl and am in the process of building a house! Im having to get rid of the shee. Its a 2002 in excellent shape. I got it in apr. of 2003 it was the last 02 they had at the dealership. Anyway I havent rode it much because Ive been out of work hurt for the past 9 months! FMF Gnarlys with powercore 2s in excellent shape, 13 tooth front sprocket, boost bottle, lightned flywheel ( Boonman special!) motion pro twist throttle, IMS front bumper, AC racing propegs, parking brake block off, still has the stock tires on it ( theyre in pretty damn good shape). Finally got a " little" extra money and im looking at getting the steelers. Is there much difference between the dual rate and the triple rate? Im going to get them without the rezzie's because I have to look at my $ realistically! I would like to have some Elkas or ohlins but what the hell anything is better than the stock! Anyway Im mostly riding pasture land and trails. Parts direct has the triple rate for like $356 and the dual for $309. Thanks for the feedback. Later, Chad

Got a new chain in and when I put it on its tight as hell. I have a 13 tooth adn i ordered a 520x104. I tried putting the stock one on too, and its still to damn tight. I have the stock rear sprocket. Think I can go ahead and put it on and ride it. Hopefully it will stretch some? Thanks

move your coolant res. tank to the front and get engine ice... pretty cheap way of helping.

big difference! havent been able to ride mine yet , but my brother tried it out and said it kicks ass! i broke my right hand so i wont b riding for a bit! still can work on her though!

I know people have posted the same topic, but just had to say Boonman did a kickin job on my flywheel! Got it in today and plan on putting it on in the morning! Feel like a kid a kid at Christmas! LOL... Well a 28 yr old kid! Thanks again boon

I use Mothers polish and a bit of elbow power to b the best. Mothers polish is the trick!
