  1. My girl freind saw the ne 350 and really wants one. I'm not into the style but some do like it, mostly beginners who think it looks cool and I think that is what Yammaha was going for.
  2. If it is any consulation. your feet don't stink and your mother does'nt dress you funny. But if you sell the Shee all this could change. Just use this form as a guide. Post some problems and we might be able to help you.
  3. You should be able to follow the order that is printed on the stock head
  4. There is a reason they are giving Yamalube away for free. (IT BLOWS) spend the little bt extra for Amsoil your shee will love you for it.
  5. You said that you put stock jets in. Well from the factory shees are not jetted for everyones conditions. Say you live at 5000ft above sea level stock jets are not going to be the right ones. Also the temp could affect the jetting. I had a problem much like you discribe. I checked everything and it turned out that my pilot jet was way to lean ( I now use a 35) If your compresion is ok try bumping up the pilot jetts a notch or two and that should help with the hard starting.
  6. You say its not the jetting but how do you know.
  7. why ride at all. I like to just sit in the parking lot lounged out on my Shee with one chick with massive cleavage holding my brew and another with a nice round bottom feeding me grapes. Now later on I'll ride happy
  8. Trim your fenders Ditch the air box (if you are still running the stock air fillter setup you are and idiot) ditch the parking break Ditch the TROS get an inline fuel filter Deck the head (most shops do this for realy cheap with a core) do not use Yamalube (try a synthetic premix) make sure you have a jet kit polish anything you can (most parts are aluminum and you can save alot of $ by doing it your self) Go on a diet (the cheapest way to drop a few pounds off of your shee) And make sure that your right thumb is in good shap (it will be doing alot of mashing)
  9. I listen to both types of music Cuntree and Western
  10. The resistance you feel at the thumb will not change very much as most of the resistance comes from the springs in the slides of the carb and the cable friction. It is nice to do away with the TROS anyway however. This will eliminate the revlimiter and also I noticed a slite improvment in trotle responce (very slite )the main reason to eliminate the TROS is to further simplify things. With out it it will be one less thing to worry about.
  11. This is more of a question about things to haul the Shee in. I am in the market for new tire for my truck. I run 315X85R15 Gateway Buckshots (35X14.5R15 ) right now. Great tires! problem is that the Gateways are not available any more acording to the local shops around here. I would like another set but am having a hard time finding them. If anyone has a web page or knows where I can get my hands on these tires please let me know. These are not the Maxis buckshots (two totaly different tires.) Also what are youguys running? any pros? any cons?
  12. There is nothing else like it. Only the Zuk 500 QuadZilla or a total custome jobie could even come close.
  13. I'll let you know i'm going to be picking one up for the old lady. See saw the pics of it and just had to have one. Tax refunds are the BOMB!
  14. Cool pic of the OCC bike.
  15. I have used the series 2000 Amsoil synthetic Racing Oil for about four years and swear by it. Use it at 50:1 and you'll never go back to what you were using before
  16. That was about the funniest game I have ever seen.
  17. There are better things to spend all that extra monney on. You already have an upgraded set of reeds. IMO wait until the ones you have wear out. A new head with inter changable domes would be a much better upgrade and is one that can grow with your needs.
  18. I picked up a QR whip mount from Cascade Inovations for like $30. They have ones that will work with the rip rod flags that are a little bit thicker. This way the flag does not whip around as bad and will not hit you in the back of the head.
  19. I think a organized trip is a great Idea. Are you Volintering to organize. Just give me a date and I'll be there.
  20. Have you tried aircraft stripper. this stuff will get just about anything off. It is sold at most good auto parts stores. Just spray it on wait 30 min. and then hit it with a presure washer. repeat if needed.
  21. I just got back into the HQ after being down and out for a while. I live in Gresham and ride the dune every chance I get. Haven't been in a while though. at least not since the weather got wet. Plan on hitting it hard this summer though. the member formerly known as Junior.
