the same thing happened to me w/ my banshee. the float bowl on the bootom of the crab is stuck open. just take a screwdriver and hit the outside(LIGHTLY) of the float bowl with the handle of the screwdriver. this should fix it. its what i did and it worked fine.

when i bought my banshee, it had a twist throttle on it. i just cant get used to it so i want to put the thumb throttle back on. i have the whole thumb throttle assembly and i want to take the twist throttle assembly off completely and put the thumb on. what i really want to know is if i can do this job myself, and if so, can anybody who knows how to do it PLEASE give me tips on how to do it, because i really dont want to have to take it to the "stealer"ship...............

there is a bad story behind this banshee. I bought it from my friend for $3300.. But heres the story, my friend kept it at his uncles house and this kid new it was there and he stole it and sold it for drug money the guy that bought it put an alba graphics kit, extended swing arm and different tires on it. he also painted the frame a cherry red color and he gound off the vin #s from the frame. so 6 months after its stolen, the kid i bought it from gets a call from the police saying they have his banshee in their possession.so he goes to the police station to see if its his, sure enough, they identified it by the serial # on the engine. so he got it back, rode it for a month or 2 and then he sold it to me for $3300. oh ya, it also has ac racing nerf bars and bumper, toomey air filter, swingarm skidplate, Tag T2 bars, motion pro twist throttle and v force delta 2 reeds

I'm trying to sell my '01 Warrior. It has a brand new UNI air filter, new stator and starter direct from Yamaha. The oil was changed regularly. It has a new chain and sprockets, a new Yuasa battery, and white Moose handlebars, new black Scott grips. The plastic is black and white, the tranny shifts great(has reverse), the motor is strong and runs great. This thing is a pretty decent hillclimber...........$2700 or b/o good starter bike
