someone listed a 98 cbr 900rr on 100motorcycles.com for 2700 dollars everything checked out he said he was from wi and sure enough the bike was registered in wi , but when it came to making a payment he said he was in england and he would ship the bike. so what i did is use western union and i sent it in my mothers name that way he could check and make sure i have the money but not take it out, well it turns out he had one of his girls go in with a fake i.d. and collect the money. he took all my money the bastard i would love to have an address or something i would get my 2700 worth. any way the f.b.i. are all over it because they said this same guy has sold this bike on ebay about 4 times. so whatever you do if your going to buy a bike on ebay make sure you get the bike first.

turbo cars dont build boost at idle, they create vacuum... not sure but i looked at his guages and his laptop he showed me and told me that he built 15 pounds of boost at idle with the car just idling the wastegate stays open until he touches the gas. it makes a very high pitched noise.

no thats not a street ride he hauls it there but it hasn't been gutted . its still got all the interior. theres also a guy that goes with them quite often that has a old galant 4-door vr4 that thing looks like a family ride. than he takes it down the strip and it runs mid 11"s its fast to. builds 15 pounds of boost at idle. sounds great

That is soooooooooo Bulshit! I have a 996 and I guarentee that I could destroy that supra! and the GRXR 1000 could smoke me on the 996 in straighrt line acceleration, shit, my GSX could probably beat that supra. I have never met a car on the street that I couldn't absolutely smoke from a rillong start like that. I'm sure some exhist, but I haven't met one yet. Riding over 120mph on a bike at night is suisidal! The only reason that supra probably even went by was that the rider on the GSXR had enough common sense to slow down and not waste his time or take stupid unnecessary risks at night. Shit, the GSX1000r probably didn't even know that the Supra was trying to race! GSXR 1000's do high 9 second quarter mile times right out of the box! and there not made to be launched real hard off the line! With a few mods to help the launch off the line; the right swingarm, a drag tire, and befier clutch they could do high eights! So from a rolling standpoint you are looking at an 8 second bike against a 12 second car at best! Trust me, I am a big fan of turbocars, but I must call Bulshit! totally agree just got a cbr 900 rr and my friend builds talon awd 's one of them is sponsered and has a hks stage 6 turbo it runs low 10 last time at bristol it ran 10.40 @ 141 mph and i guareentee u my bike would smoke it.

whats everyone thinkm of the ducati's has anyone ever rode very many? if so what was it like i heard alot of good stuff about them.

i'm not sure on the insurance question all i know is what he quoted me everyone in my area say he is by far the cheapest if anyone would like his number i would be glad to give it to you.

this guy wanted 2100 a year for full coverage since it eas my first bike but liability is only 14 dollars a month. and thats for a cbr 1100. also. i weigh 235 lbs so i'm a big boy too.

un fortuanetly i may have to get rid of the banshee i was wandering if you knew about what it would be worth. i've got 1. fmf fattys and silencers no rust 2. 3 in wheel spacers 3. k&n 4. holeshots rear 3/4 tread 5. fresh top end 6.dg nerf bars 7. dg bumper 8. .250 rear skid 9. full skid .190 10. sponsorship decal kit 11. two sets of wheels all in very good shape they really shine 12. also have all the stock stuff i figured it should be worth 3000 to 3200 it runs perfect starts first kick everytime what do you think it is worth?

i got my fattys for 105 and they came with silencers and they have no rust and have not been pianted so you might want to think about holding off

WELL THERES ALOT OF MOUNTAINS ACTUALLY ALL MOUNTAINS AND CURVES BUT THERE ARE STILL INTERSTATES AND STRAIGHTAWAYS AND YES IT IS MY FIRST STREET BIKE BUT I'VE RODE EVERY KIND OF DIRT BIKE IMAGINABLE SO I'M SURE IT WILL TAKE SOME GETTIN USED TO. ALSO I DO HAVE ALOT OF RESPECT FOR ANY MACHINE. SUCH AS THE BANSHEE EVERYONE AROUND HERE CALLS ME STUPID AND SUICIDAL FOR RIDING MY BANSHEE ON OUR TRAILS HOWEVER NEVER BEEN IN A VERY SERIOUS WRECK AND I KNOW ITS ALOT DIFFERNT FROM STREET BIKES BUT I JUST WANT SOMETHING I'M SCARED OF. I FOUND A 1998 CBR900RR FOR 2700 DOLLARS IT HAS ONLY 3600 MILES ON IT NO SCRATCHES AND NO WRECKS , NO SALVAGE OR REBUILT TITLE. AND AS FAR AS THE 750 AND 600 IN MY EXPIERENCE SO FAR THEY USALLY RUN ALOT MORE THAN THAT . I REALLY DO APPRECIATE ALL OF YOUR OPINOINS THEY MATTER ALOT. i'm lookin to get a crotch rocket but not sure what is good i'm leaning toward a cbr 1100. but not sure would love to have a ducati, but can't afford anyway i would appriciate your input on the matter . thanks
