  1. How do you get the front sprocket off? I just added my +4 swing arm and need to put a new chain on but I need to put the gears on before I can do it. I don't have an impact wrench so that won't help... Thanks
  2. how many pennies??
  3. Any place fairly close to THE BIG SAND BOX is like that. Here in arizona they get expensive too. I happen to luck out on the deal I got.
  4. Are there any retailers that give discounts to HQ members? Not that I'm being cheap or anything but saving a buck is saving a buck... I need lots of parts from quicksand, Just bought stuff from majic racing ( and told them in the comments that I saw them here), and of course I would by Noss stuff before any other brand that competes. So, with that said, I like to save money but i don't use coupons... I wonder why not.
  5. That n2glamis guy sells them on ebay for around $65 for a set. good deal. I bought one from him.
  6. I know.. I'm very happy with my motor but the next one is going to be all out. Its in the works already, so if you have something cooking that is pronto, I want in on it...
  7. you need to get a http://www.bikepics.com account and put pictures there...
  8. What??? I'm going to be obsolete already?
  9. I guess its hard to tell when we are talking about inches in a small picture. I'm in the market for some a-arms but I may go with quicksand since they are from my hood...
  10. I see them. Those look about the same as the other side? are those aftermarkets too? I don't know about that color either... did they bolt in or did you have to make them fit?
  11. Damn dude, you got the raw end on that one. But your gonna have amost a whole new tranny now? if that helps any??
  12. I guess I do. I can't have the bike down right now though so I will suffer until its too hot to ride. Just got it going and if the rain would stop I'd be out riding today.... Thanks guys.
  13. My kickstart lever is a serious pain to get to open so I can kick it. Is there something I can do to this thing to make it open easier? Thanks.
  14. Why would you want to use a 1 into 2 carb set up on a banshee anyway? Because you think it will give you more low end? You should plan your motor out completely before you go buying parts and stick with one builder. Not what you want and what they want to do. The two usually don't work together. Tell your engine builder what you want and let them pick the parts for your motor. And I can bet that if you tell jim what you want to do with your motor he can make it happen. Mine is exactly how I wanted it.
  15. I haven't climbed anything yet but its coming. I think we are going to glamis in 2 weeks. Can't wait to tear up the dunes with this bike. What I really like is how there is no lag going into the powerband. I can putt around like a 4 stroke and rev it into the band and fly.
  16. Look in the for sale section for a guy that goes by the handle period . He has 2 sets he wants to sell.
  17. I think mine is tuned down a little too for the dune and desert riding I do also but I tell you what, I opened it up on a 10 mile stretch of dirt road and it just flat out flys. No bike that was there could catch me. Built exactly how I wanted it.
  18. I rode around on the stock gears and it seemed ok, but I have taller gears coming so i can see what this is all about I'm going to go 16, 39 or 40 I think.
  19. How much for a set of the jugs?
  20. Here is my airbox setup that I am using. I tie wrapped the back of the box to the frame since I had to bend the stock rear mounts. Here is how I mounted the coolant overflow tank. I had a mount to use when you have pod filters so I strapped it to the front rails. When I take the bike apart I'm going to weld a few pieces in to hold this bracket.
  21. I still have to put the 4" arm on and the longer chain so its back down till next weekend but I raced everything around. The raptor, my friends banshee, whiped them all. I can't believe how hard it pulls in the band, It just screams. I've got V-force reeds, Cool head 19cc domes, 34 mm carbs. I'll get pictures of it today. I decided to mount the coolant overflow in the front because the airbox was so far back.
  22. Well why not when you sell them??? I love my CPI's
  23. Ok, so the rumors I heard were true. The motor flat out screams. The carbs were jetted dead on. I don't know what it is but I have power (lots more than stock) from idle and when the powerband hits, HOLD ON cause it gets hauling. I can't wait to dune this quad. Thanks Jim if you reading. Best quad money I've spent.
  24. So you cut down the boots between the airbox and the carbs? or the intake boots? I need to do the same thing on mine or remount it up front.
  25. And....................................... Its gone.
