04Banshee

Thanks a lot guys. Even though this thread kinda turned into what pipes I should buy, Im still wondering if there is anything else I can do to make noticable power without porting? I assume from the previous post there really isnt anything else. Thanks again.

I am pretty sure I wont be porting my banshee. I heard the cpis work great on ported motors thats why I kinda want Toomeys instead. I just cant decide on the T5s or T6s. Toomey said that the T6s were specifically designed for a stock bike and if I put a cool head on, he said it might mess with the way the power band hits and maybe even the performance even with the correct domes. Thats why I asked.

One of the techs there told me that the T6s w/reeds only will out perform the T5s w/reeds and cool head. He said hes not sure if it will make or loose power running cool head on the T6s. Can anyone tell me if they are making or loosing any power with the T6s w/reeds and a cool head? Thanks everyone.

I still am unsure what pipes I want but I am confused about something...Toomey told me that the T5s would be better than the T6s with reeds and a coolhead. I thought that the T6 wouldnt work as well as T5s on a ported motor?

Thanks for the info Just for fun. Maybe I will go with the CPIs instead. Anyone else have any opinions?

I think the Cpis are nothing but a top end pipe and the Toomeys have a lot more midrange. Is this true?

I need everyones opinion on the mods I am planning on getting for my 04 banshee. I want a set of Toomey pipes either T5 or T6 w/2:1 filter,V-force reeds and noss cool head. What do you think? What other mods can I do that will make noticable power besides porting? Thanks

The tires need some tread so that I can stud them so the bald ones wont work. Thanks

I am looking for used front and rear tires with rims for cheap. I need them asap. Their going to be used for the ice so they dont need to be in perfect condition. They dont need to be studded either. Thanks
