  3. hey guys i need a GOOD stock crank....let me know what you have
  4. Damn that sounds almost too good to be true, but i definitly would of been all over it!!!
  5. Iam pretty sure that its still the stock impeller. Not completly sure, because it is a used bike.
  6. ok guys i need help. My banshee has been sitting awhile because i had some suspension problems. I just got them ironed out and i took it out around the house. I rode it maybe 10 minutes and when i came back i noticed there was coolant on my left boot, and after i turned it off i heard boiling sound. I waited for it to cool and i checked the coolant in the radiator, it was a little low but it didnt take much to fill it. I started it up with the cap off and when i rev it up i can see the coolant flowing so i think the water pump is working. One of the last times i actually rode it, it got hot on me in the woods but i just figured it was because we were barley moving on some narly trails. Anyone have any ideas what i can check? I just got a new top end and i dont want to burn it up. All help is appreciated
  7. i bought a banshee and it has some type of aftermarket bearing carrier and axle and it has some play in the bearings so i wnted to replace them and i can not figure out how to get the axle out i got the book out but its nothing like the factory set up it only has one big lock nut?? any help is appreciated thanks
  8. where is the shift shaft bushing? i cant find it in my book. to remove the clutch u need to take the clutch cover off and then remove the 6 screws and springs on the pressure plate then pull the pressure plate and all the clutch discs off then theres a big nut on the clutch boss that u have to take off and then the clutch boss and basket come off and you can get at the external shift mechanism. it would help if you had a book to take u step by step. the book says u need a special tool but i managed to get by without it. it would make it much easier if you had one though. i dont even know what the name of it is but im sure someone on here does.
  9. yeah i got a new shaft and the old one was a little worn and bent slightly. i dont no why the thing would leak with a new shaft and a new seal maybe someeone here can help me with that?? but to answer your question u need to take the clutch cover off and remove the clutch and then the shaft just pulls out if the shifters off.
  10. Yeah it was a new seal and i put it all the way in with a socket and i got a new shift shaft and i put it in and the leak slowed down alot but theres still a little bit of a leak???? what do i do now ? any sugestions?? thanks alot for the help.
  11. ok heres the scoup i had a broken shift adjustment bolt and i took it apart to fix it and i ruined the shift shaft seal when i was putting the shaft back in so i got a new seal and put it in. I just got everything back together today and i rode it around a little and then i brought it back in the garage and the shift shaft has some up and down play in it and when u pull it up a little it leaks oil and its a pretty good amount. i went to the stealership and the mechanic said its prolly my shift shaft? but i wanted to check here b4 i believed him. thanks alot guys.
  12. how can i keep my clutch ball, rod, and adjuster from becoming welded together? seems like a real pain in the ass to fix and something id like to avoid. thanks for the help
