What is the best way to get rid of your TORS? any one know??

i have mine screwed in all the way in clockwise and then i backed them off about 1.5 to 2 turns...is that right.............also i know this is dumb but i didn't put any thing other than the gasket on the shee....no sealer or nothing. i was told i wouldn't have to??

I just did a top end re build on my 02 banshee with a .20 over bore and when i start it up the idle is fine and then it starts to scream rpm's and i have to shut it off. Anyone here got any idea's??also what r the air screws on the back of the carbs suppose to be set at? it is all stock

i am a problem that is prolly simple but i am overlooking it. I just got done doing a top end rebuild on my shee and now i can't get it to start. It ran when i tore it down. Now i am getting no spark. I pulled the plug and set it against the block and kicked it over with my hand and i was getting nothing. Is there anything that connects to the gas tank other than the gas line? Any suggestions would help...thanks

i have hauled mine a couple times in the back of my 96 GMC ex. cab. It's bagged on all four corners layin frame on 20's. It's easy to haul the banshee....ya just lift up the front of the truck and lay the ass end out and drive the banshee right up in the back!

yea i still have the stock filter and flange.....why would that cause the engine to f**k up?? thanks

i need to pull my entire engine off. I know this sounds stupid but are there any special tips you guys can give me that will make it a lil easier? I am gonna have it bored .20 over so i have a nice fresh top end. I just bought FMF powercore pipes and silencers. I need to know what size jets i am gonna need to run and i am going to buy a cool head but what size domes should i run? How much horsepower do you guys think i should have with the .20 over bore,pipes,silencers,jetted and a cool head??? thanks guys

alright.....thanks for the input guys. I'll have to take it apart and get that done as soon as possible. I was expecting it to run like a bat outa hell but i new something was wrong when my buddy beat my ass on his Raptor!

my shee is doing some weird stuff like that. I bought just some FMF silencers and a boost bottle and i put it on and it ran like a champ....although it did backfire and make some weird niose out of the tail pipe. I went out today to ride and it was about 30 degrees and it ran like shit...no power or anything! It was backfiring like a bitch and the weird thing is that it was blowing real hard out of the right silencer and hardly nothing out of the left side??? what is going on with it...... only mods....FMF silencers and a boost bottle

oh yeah.....do u think a .20 over bore and re ringed, well do u think i will be able to tell much of a difference?

i am not sure...i just bought it a month or so ago.....it is a 2002. That is why i didn't think it really needed a rebuild but hell i don't know

i took my banshee out a lil bit ago and man.....it ran like crap! It had no power at all.....i checked the compression and it was at 95psi and the other was at 115psi. What does this mean....one side was smokin and the other was not. Also. those little screws on the back of the carbs....what should they be set at? thanks for any help

Well....i can ride it for an hour and it will still smoke blue and smell like burning oil. I don't know what the elevation is around here....but i live in Southern Indiana. I called today about .20 over bore,new rings and pistons so i will get that done after christmas!

well i did the compression test....the right side was at 116 and the left was at 119. Guess i'll have to find out where i can get it re ringed huh...thanks again

i am gonna do a compression check tomarrow. So is it normal for a raptor to beat up on a banshee? Also.....what did u mean about the carbs? thanks

that's what i thought but i wanted to ask and make sure. Since they are gone i am thinking about having it bored .20 over new pipes,jettted,boost bottle, and a cool head. Do you think that would be a good start on performance?

I just bought a 2002 banshee and i love it. My buddies wanted me to get a Raptor or a Z400 but i wanted a 2 stroke. Here is my question. My banshee is all stock. I was going down the road the other day and it was smokin pretty bad, it was blue smoke. I have the fuel mixed 28 to 1. It still gets up and goes pretty good but it doesn't feel like it has the top end that it should have. I raced my buddy on his stock raptor and he beat me pretty bad! Is a stock raptor faster than a stock banshee? thanks...any help would be great
