FMF does make reeds so its possible , But I still think you have a airleak..Just looking at the boots is not enough to tell if you have one. Start the bike and spray all around the Intakes, reeds and boots. If you bike bogs down or starts racing there is your leak

Word, Six year no rebuild Dont leave your banshee just setting there turned on unless you are heating up the motor. A banshee needs to be moving in order to cool the motor. You will overheat almost everytime you just leave it sitting there. That rattle you mentioned, Did you happen to take a peak at the kickstarter?? Sounds crazy But I had the same rattle coming from mine
