  1. Diesels need an exhaust brake because there is no throttle body to close off the continuous air supply that the motor has, therefore the exhaust brake causes a restriction in exhaust flow, slowing the engines RPM's because of the backpressure.
  2. I just started back this week too. I split my week up like this: Back/Bi's/calfs on Mon and Wed; Chest/Tri's/upper legs on Tues and Thurs, and abs + whatever I feel like hitting a little more on Fri. I go 1 warm-up set for everything, then about 80-85% max for 7-8 reps, adding about 5 lbs each set. For example, on decline, I'd start the first heavy set with 295, then 305, then 315 for the last set. Use a Smith Machine if you don't have a spotter with you. I use one for my bench, decline, squat, and shoulder press. I'm starting a bulking cycle, so I eat everything that isn't moving. Eat at least 1 gram of protein per lb. of bodyweight to build muscle, or 1.5 grams/lb if you can. Protein shakes are a good way to get extra protein in during the day. Drink one first thing in the morning. Your muscles have been repairing themselves all night, and the need the extra protein in the morning as soon as you can get it to them. Eat lots of carbs in the morning too. Creatine has helped me personally. Just lift heavy for 7-8 reps/set, work the muscles to failure-when you can't lift the weight anymore, and eat lots of protein.
  3. Do you have any pics? If so email them to [email protected]
  4. what exactly is MINY? Did you mean MINT?
  5. My adjustable ones are pretty good, no leaks. Sound good in my opinion.
  6. I'm a bodybuilder and a reserve Police Officer, but I work full time for the government as a mechanic at an Army Depot..
  7. sent you a PM
  8. Want to buy stock yellow plastic from like a '97 model. Or I'd like to find a set of new black plastic from a new limited bike if possible..
  9. I personally would rather use a machine made for the mud to ride in the mud. Shaft drive atv's are made for mud and all that, chain drive atv's aren't really made to go into the mud that much...but it's done all the time, I just hate cleaning mine after hitting a mud hole..
  10. 25..damn how time flys by...getting older by the minute. If I could go back to my teenage years knowing what I know now...hmmmmmmmmmm
  11. A 16 year old daughter of a friend of ours was riding down a dirt road trying to catch up to another friend one evening and didn't see a 90 degree bend in the road b/c of all the dust, and ran through a barbed wire fence, almost decapitated her. A helmet wouldn't have helped her out that much. You still have to have some common sense when you're riding, or you can get FUBAR'd really easy.
  12. I was 20 before I got my first ATV, and I busted my a$$ working to get it. I bought a new 99 400ex b/c I didn't know much about the Banshee, even though my best friend let me ride his 99 'shee around the yard when he got it...I was hooked, and I kicked myself after I got the 400 the first time we rode together...Must be nice to have mommy and daddy pay for everything...
  13. You can find a cheap catback system just about anywhere..Flowmaster is one of the best and best sounding..and getting rid of the cat will free up a couple of horses b/c it's probably almost stopped up by now anyways..just tell the muffler shop to cut it off and replace it with a free-flowing cat=straight pipe in place of the converter...smaller exhaust shops will do it w/o any trouble.
  14. Black 2003 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually quad cab 4x4, Cummins/5spd, 5" exhaust, AFE intake,Autometer boost and EGT phantom gauges in A-pillar pod, 2" lift, 35x12.50x17 SuperSwamper Trxus M/T's, rebel flag back window decal-glasscapes makes it i think, and a few other mods I can't remember...need a trailer, it's a BIATCH to load in the truck w/o ramps..but a good workout none the less

  21. I need a twist throttle for my 'shee. Those carbs are killing my thumb. I want one in new/like new condition if possible. Anybody??
  22. I'm lucky enough to have a new black Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 quad cab dually, 35x12.5 SuperSwamper Trxus M/T's, 5" exhaust w/o muffler, AFR cold air intake, and a few other goodies. I also have a 1969 firebird 350/4spd that I'm working on, and a 70 Chevy stepside with a '68 front end, Pro-stock Harwood hoodscoop-dang thing is 12" high..it was a good idea at the time..,ZR-1 roll pan, lowered, a few billet interior pieces, but no motor/tranny. Got it my senior year of high school so I could learn some mechanic skills. Now if I could find the $$$$ to finish all my projects I'd be one happy camper
