I put 190 mains in it and adjusted the air adjustment. The clips are set at the bottom( I beliieve, we went by the climars book and adjusted them to the leanest setting to help the problem). If your out running hard and shut it off, the plugs are a tan brown in color. It only acts up on idle and midrange. I didn't check the pilot jets.. Could that be causing a problem. The mains I took out were 280's. BansheeBuhl

O.K. I'm still in the learning phase. I had Toomey T6's on my bike and switched it back to stock for my kid to ride. After changing the main jetting and adjusting the needle clips, I still can't get the midrange to run properly. I purchased the shee with the Toomeys already on so I am not sure if it has toomey needles (or if they exist). I thought I would ask the experts before I go and buy needles. Many Thanks, BansheeBuhl

My shee was just rebuilt 10 hours ago. The company that did the work milled my head and put toomey t6's on the bike. I have a k&n airfilter and a boost bottle, but if i'm not in the power band the shee is a dog. I ride mostly in the sand dunes so I don't know if I should change my sprocket ratio, go to a trinity stage single carb, or what. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I went riding with a buddy the other day, and I almost enjoyed riding his shee completely stock. Thanks, BanhseeBuhl

Extended swing arm What length?
BansheeBuhl replied to BansheeBuhl's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
do you think the 2" extended swing arm makes a difference over stock? -
Hello fellow Banshee brothers (and sisters where applicable). I just put sand star paddles on my shee, and the front end comes up non stop. I want to put an extended swing arm on to help keep the front down. I mostly ride in the sand, so I was hoping to get some good advice on which to buy. 2" or 4"? Will it drastically affect the way my quad handles, will it still corner properly? HELP!!!!!!! BansheeBuhl

2002 Banshee for sale CHEAP!!!
BansheeBuhl replied to BansheeBuhl's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
bump -
I have a 2002 Banshee for sale. It has FMF gold series fatty pipes and fmf silencers, and dg steel nerf bars. This baby fires up on the 1st or 2nd kick every time. It runs strong and has no known mechanical problems. I have to sell one of the two and this one has to go. It has a small crack on the right rear fender as seen in the photo. The zip tie fix is strong. I live in Michigan and will drive up to 100 miles to meet someone, or I could ship it. I am looking for $3200.00 and that does not include shipping. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN PARTING THIS MACHINE OUT. pm me if you have any questions. I will be putting this on e-bay in less than a week, and I would rather get a buyer from HQ because we're just cool that way! PM me for pictures, because I have no idea how to post them. Thanks, BansheeBuhl
