  1. Well, you may not need to rejet the whole thing. It is running properly besides the idle and when you first give it some throttle? If so, you likely need to adjust the air screws on the sides of the carbs, and thats it. Try turning them out (counter-clockwise) one complete turn on each. Then try firing it back up and see how she does. Once you get in the general area you can make very slight adjustments on the air screws to get it just right.
  2. Yea, your pilot circuit is not jetted right. First determine if it is lean or rich. Does is pop and rev a little high before it dies, or does is come down to idle and bog a bit. Let it get almost to idle before it dies, and give it some revs, does it have poor response (hesitation or bogging)? If not, you may be jetted right, but you need to bring you idle up some. But since you made mods, the jetting is probably off. Did you rejet since you made the mods? If not, I would think you might be lean. But usually when you are lean you know it. Tinker around with. Jot down where your air screws are set now (so you can reset them back if needed), and try putting them in a turn or a turn in a half. If it helps, you knwo you were lean, and work from there. If it is worse you know you are rich and reste your screws to where they were orginally and turn them out a turn or so.
  3. Currently, mine is just zip tied to mount temporarily. So if you need a quick fix, you can do that. However, it looks like you can get an "L" bracket and mount it from the a mounting tab (the one mine is currently zip tied on, I'm pretty sure it was a mount for the air box) to the resivor. I too was wondering is there is a better way to do this, but from looking at it, the "L" bracket looks best to me.
  4. Ok, second thought, maybe not the bulb. I fired it up and the light on both sides was on (lights set to high). Then the left one kinda flickered out (right one is fine). I switched it to low and it poped on. I guess it may just be faulty wiring. I'm going to go look for exposed or broken wires, in the mean time, anyone have any suggestions on where to start my search? Like I said, the left is fine, the right is faulty.
  5. Hey, One of my headlights died on me. I'm guessing it is a bulb, as that would be the most obvious thing to check first I suppose. Does anyone know what type of bulb it is, and if you can buy them at auto parts store? Thanks!
