  1. what is the oem part number for the clutch plates(fiber), i was recomended to use this one, 4h7-16321-02,mine wont shift under a load,and i use a dirt digger clutch,my engine porter told me all the problems with it not shifting under load is from that aftermarket kit,and the trans is all new,down to the bolts!!
  2. mine does it when the chain is stretched or the teeth are wore or "curved",sounds to me like you need a new chain/sprocket combo.

  5. found the problem,the two ears that contact the shift star,wouldnt return because there the spring on the "ears" on the shaft got hooked somehow on the outer edge of one of the ears,sounds odd,but it was as easy fix!!thanks!!
  6. my shee had all the gears and internals replaced last year,now five rides later it wont shift past second. i can find neutral and first fine ,but the shifter feels NOTCHY and wont return to the middle sometimes,i pulled the cluth cover and the spring and shift star are fine,any ideas????

May sounds good too me too,to dusty after mid year,to cold and wet in early spring,i do like the idea of a fall ride with the trees changing color,maybe that will work out too,mmmm... but i ride year round,if it's too muddy or the snows too deep, i got the foreman with gators to pull me through!,or if i just want ride the trails around here i take out one of my 1985 tri-z's

  20. not to many LARGE, legal places to ride there, but out here (intersection of I66 ,I81) we have thousands of places out here to ride,how about riding from town to town on nothing but trails??we got it,its worth the trip ,im 1 1/2 hrs from dc,come on out for a ride and bring all your buds!! powerlines,wooded trails,mud,wide open fields for days!!! even a few small mx tracks! no skid plates needed.
  21. here i sit at the intersection of I66 and I81 ,thousands of places up here,only 1 1/2 hrs from dc,come on out!!or check my post THE STRIPPINS on page 2 of the riding forum,i will be planning another ride there soon as the snow goes away!!you can ride from town to town around here (strasburg) on trails!!
