So I have been out of the banshee scene for a while and im helping a buddy do some work on his banshee and Im Wondering if you can rebuild a stock basket?? Pounded the rivets out and now wondering if its even possiable to rebuild it??

I have a Mx ported (redline Racing) for sale that has a new crank with maybe 10 hours on it including about 3 hours break in time,new clutch,and coole head,Motor includes intakes,stator and everything....1200.00 plus shipping.... Complete rolling chassi 1988 no title but will provide bill of sale Red chassi with blue plastics whit j arms and swingarm complete wiring and all al it needs is a motor and pipes.....Could use some new bushings in the front end but thats it....850.00 Plus shipping..... In my opinion Hp means alot but you are right it doesent mean everything...I think you need to look around plaetsand a little bit more when you say there is noting on there about nate mccoy there have been alot of guys on there that have motors built by him and they rip shit.... My motor is a 7mm cub that was built by Dan at patriot and that is who gets my vote I have a +8 swinger with +2+1 a arms and I weigh about 250 and it has no problem puling them off the ground 2nd through 6th any rpm..... And as far as getting one of the bigger guys to do your cub motor other then dan at a&s and buddy at ssr it is really hard to find a big builder to do a cub motor or stock cylinders...I know for a fact that Packard hasent touched a set of cubs due to that who I was going to have build mine and they basically told me fu when I called..lol

I understand what your saying but I have been down there the past 3 years in a row and in 03 it was crazy but It is nothing like it used to be We even rode our bikes down to olds at about midnight one night and dident see half the shit ya saw at comp in 02 and 03 so honestly there isent as big of a worry as there was 3 years ago..Plus the cop presence has almost tripled out there....

In my opinion Bore is no replacement for stroke the only time I see it being worth big boring a motor is if you already have enough stroke to move those pistons all the extra bore does in my eyes is slow the motor down due to having to throw more piston weight...my 02.

Sience when did they close olds at night??Last year it was just comp closed on holiday weekends and the asa site says that its still just comp closed at night??? Don't let these guys scare ya we went down for the first time last thanksgiving and I expected it to be wild and crazy and it was really pretty tame and whatever you do do not camp in the washes unless you dont mind dust..... We will be camping on gecko and will be rolling in on the evening of the 16th send me a pm if you wanna hook up you guys are more then welcome to camp with us so long as you like to cause we get er on....
