13 tooth YFZ or Raptor 660 Front Sprocket
BansheeCrasher replied to BansheeCrasher's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
Yep. yours for 12.95  -
The stock gear that interefaces with the one-way starter bearing clutch. If your one-way has gone bad, it can also take out this gear. It is sensible to replace this if you are replacing your one-way. Yamaha part number is 5LP-15515-10. The item is brand new. On ebay...see there for pics... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...em=330027678112

99 Banshee For Sale - $2800
BansheeCrasher replied to BansheeCrasher's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
Sorry for the late reply. Not getting my email notification for some reason. I have the old school (and new school) hubs for it. I had bought the wheels from a guy online who said they would work for a Banshee. He didn't quite say that I had the wrong year. So, being stuck with an oddball set of rims, I bought new hubs instead of trying to sell. I have both sets of hubs if you need "new school" ones, I will throw them in. Email me if you want to see it. Deciphering Wiseco Specs
BansheeCrasher replied to BansheeCrasher's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
great...thanks Tom -
Hey, I bought some wiseco's off Ebay that were advertised as being .60 over. However, now that they showed up, they are the K142 kit and on Wiseco's web site it shows the following table: Kit Part # Bore Size Displ. K139 64.00 / STD 346cc K140 64.50 / 0.50 352cc K144 64.75 / 0.75 355cc K141 65.00 / 1.00 358cc K145 65.25 / 1.25 361cc K142 65.50 / 1.50 364cc K143 66.00 / 2.00 370cc K146 66.25 / 2.25 376cc K147 66.50 / 2.50 382cc It even looks as if no .60 over option is offered. Am I reading this incorrectly or did I get the wrong stuff? Here is the ebay ad: "You are bidding on a Wiesco piston kit K142 that fits all years YAMAHA BANSHEE...SIZE IS 65.50mm which is .060 over..." Thanks, Tom

Hey - I just pulled my top end apart to diagnose a coolant problem and it turns out that it is time for new pistons. I already have .50 over (like that when I bought it) and since there apparently are no pistons larger than .50, what are my options? Do I just buy new cylinder jugs and start over or can I do something else? Thanks, Tom

Hey, Has anyone refinished stock hubs? I got some used ones in the 4/156 pattern to go with a great deal I got for a second set of rims. However, they are pretty crappy. I have access to a sandblaster, but am wondering the best approach to keep then shiny once done. Is there a coating of some sort I should use? Tom

Do they make aftermarket thumb throttles for the Banshee that strain the thumb less? I have carpel tunnel and other issues with my right hand from injury, so a day on the Banshee leaves my thumb and forearm aching. Thanks, Tom
-
OK, I am sick of pins and needles after a day of riding with my thumb throttle. What's the best twist throttle kit? Tom

I need rear hubs with the 4/156 bolt pattern. Got 'em? I want em. Please email me at [email protected] with a price. Tom

Brand new Douglas rims and tires. Rims are for Banshee with 4/156 bolt pattern for 89-90 Banshee. The front tires are 22x8x10 Fast Trekkers and and the rear are 22x10x10 Turf Tamers. Being the NEWB that I am, I just bought them for my quad and realized my 99 has a different bolt pattern. $260 + shipping. Tom

What would it take to make my 99 Banshee use the 4/156 bolt pattern? Just switch the hubs, right? How much would that cost? Tom

Things For The Beginner...
BansheeCrasher replied to Wheatchex's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Chest/back protector, and get the boots. Your ankles will thank you. ARC Corona's at rockymountainatv.com are only $79.00. Add a chest protector for $40-$50 and you are over the $100 mark for free shipping. When you do your first newbie flip the quad manuever and land on your back and don't crack your spine, you will be glad you did. Trust me, I know. Tom
