  1. 03 Banshee, yellow & black CPI drag pipes 32mm makuni flatslides pro design intake V-force reeds cool head $3,500 located in N.H.
  2. Wake up Mike !! You fell asleep at the keyboard again, cause your definitely dreaming !!
  3. It's a real bummer about Dayton, soon there will be no place to ride !! You Dayton guys should come and try out the drags in Cornish our 1st race is the 22nd & 23rd of May. Check out www.neorvca.com
  4. Notching your belt !! Ha....Ha !! More like losing your shirt !!!!!!! I'm thinking of buying a polaris 400 Scrambler and installing the 75hp kit like my Dad, then shave some weight off it. low, low 5's maybe high 4s !!!!!!!!!! You'd better buy a windshield for your KFX, if the wind catches that swolen head of yours it'll rip you right off the bike !! HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. That 440 kit of yours has made your head so big, it's gotta weigh a 100lbs all by itself !! HA HA !! Josh is just a better rider than me and I only said my bike was faster than Jon's, not that I was faster than him !! HEE...HEE !! I sold the Banshee, so your safe for a little while...... till I build something else !!!!!!!!! And your KFX400 does go good, I was impressed..... I can see you head swelling from here !!!!!!!!
  6. If you read my post, I said stock vs stock They were stock then, I didn't say anything about being stock now !! READ !! And why would I get "beat down" it's the top class, but it's still bracket racing !! I like Banshees and the KFX, can't people like more than one bike ?? Yamaha does need to get off it's ass and update the Banshee, it sucks paying 2003 prices for 1987 technology.
  7. It is an auto, you clutch it like a sled, change springs and weights, you can change the point of engagement and increace the side pressure for less slippage.
  8. Hi, you don't need to do anything to your Banshee, it's bracket racing, run what you brung !! We race in Cornish now at the Ossipee Valley fair grounds, it's a good time !! As far as sleds, I've had a bunch of them, but the older I get the more I hate the cold !! I've never been to Poland Spring, and never herd of killit pond !! Anyway, Happy Thanks Giving !! See you in the spring, when it's warm !! My neighbor went riding at Dayton today, he said it was a ghost town !!
  9. That was you!!!! Nice shee!!! and fast. I might be working this Sunday coming up, but I'll be definately be down the following weekend. I'll try to make it though. I need a new clutch in my shee and would like to run you again just to see the difference...Are you going this sunday?? Hi, I sold the Banshee yesterday, but you'll probably be seeing it at Dayton, sold it to a friend from work. I bought another KFX700 yesterday, it was in an accident, when only 2weeks old. This will be my winter project. I'm going to make a drag bike out of it. I would like to find a 250R 3 wheeler front end to put on it. I'll see you in the spring at Dayton, I'll need to fine tune it before racing season starts !! My friend Jon with the Honda 370R had talked about you several times and it was great to finaly meet you !! I hope you come up and try your hand at the drags next year, it's really alot of fun !!
  10. 1st of all, I can see that your a real class act !! 2nd do you think that i'm the only one there with a Banshee ?? We do bracket racing, you get 3 passes then you select a dial in. come race time the lights are staggered accordingly. My "V" has dual exhaust, clutch kit and K&N filter. running 22" 4-snows on rear. If I end up racing a stock or slightly modified Banshee ie.....piped & jetted.....ect he will start anywhere from 2-5 10ths ahead of me. If I can do something to knock off another 10th from what I run now, I will be able to move up to the top class and run with the modified Banshees and 250R's and Quadzillas. Now if your going to tell me that nobody in the state of Maine knows how to ride a Banshee or some shit like, then don't bother !! I'm 38yrs old, I'm not some punk kid, I dont need to hear your crap !! If you have something constructive to say, then go for it.
  11. Hi, The Banshee isn't ported yet, but hopefully in the near future. The 32mm carbs seem to work very well with the CPI pipes. No bog or flat spots and much faster than stock. Before I started to modify my bike, I knew I wanted to run CPI out of frame pipes so I called CPI and was told that to realize the full HP gain of the pipes that I would have to remove the tors, rejet and go to open K&N filters. If I did these things I would see a 20HP gain. I chose to upgrade the carbs 1st thing so I wouldn't have to later on. So far I'm very happy with the results !! As far as the swingarm I started with a +10" and had way too much tire spin, tried a +8", not much difference, now I have a +4" and am very happy with it !!
  12. Hey Banchetta, you going to the pit on Sunday? We met last weekend, I've got the yellow and black Shee with the drag pipes. Looks like 55 and sunny !!
  13. I have an 03 Banshee and a V-force I bought them both for drag racing and Both stock, the V-force is a 10th of a sec. quicker in 100yds.
  14. Weather man say's 48 degrees and sunny !!!!!!!!!
  15. I have an 03 Banshee with cool head 19cc domes, CPI drag pipes 32mm flatslides, V-force reeds, reed spacers, 4-degree timing advance, K&N filters and a +4 swingarm. I also have an 04 V-force with HMF dual exhaust, EPI clutch kit and a K&N filter. Both bikes have the suspension removed and struts installed and they run almost identical times in the 100yd drags !!
