Ok I just finished doing my top end and this is what I have. 64.5mm bore, smallest I could go. I have stock reeds and carbs, cool head with 19cc domes, 2 to 1 pipe. My airbox has a foam filter with that pro-flow adapter with no cover on the box. I plan on mixing 110 50/50 with 93 at 32:1. Right now I just put 100 octane straight mixed 32:1 because thats all the store had haha. So based on what I have, what jets should I try? If this is too confusing I'll explain more. Just post and let me know because I really need some help. Thanks.

Ok well I picked up a Wiseco top end kit, an o-ring kit for my cool head, and the cyl's are getting honed out as we speak. Is there anything else I should have to do before I start putting it all back together besides cleaning everything up? And if I switch to 20 or 22cc domes, would I notice a power loss? They told me the reason I'm buying a top end is because I wasnt running race gas...so I'm wondering if its worth it to have to buy race gas and keep these domes. I just wanna have fun with the thing and drive it a lot, and when gas is gonna be $40 for 5 gallons that might not be able to happen. I kinda like paying $5 and blasting around on the thing for 6 hours.

Just got this thing recetly and I can't decide if my carbs are stock or not. I tend to think they are not because a stock throttle cable is wayy too big becuase I tried to replace the one that is in there now because it is hard to push. The things that hook from the cable to the slides are tiny. Well, heres a couple pics let me know what you think. The reason I think they may be stock is they still say Mikuni in the same place.

So just curious, anyone know if it can be done fromt the outside?

I got the quad like 2 weeks ago and it really hasnt run perfect, so I got aggrivated tonight and pulled the head. Here is what I found. (Look at the bottom of the left piston) So what would be the best top end kit for me to get? I have a cool head and was told they are 19cc domes in there but how can I be sure? If I posted a pic would someone be able to tell? I don't want to go crazy with the rebuid...just wanna get it back to running so I can have some fun. Believe it or not I was having fun with how fast it was like that...I can't imagine what it will be like with some compression. Any info would be awesome. Thanks.

I have a cool head with 19cc domes, 2 to 1 pipe, air filter, boost bottle, stock carbs, who knows how its jetted...i bought it this way like a week ago and I'm getting all the bugs out of it. But I was talking to a atv mechanic and he said if I have 19cc domes I should be running nothing but race gas even if I mix it 50/50 or I'm gonna blow the thing up? True? He referred me to a shope that they compete with that actually sells race gas so it wasnt him just trying to sell something. What do you guys think?
