Ok, so I was changing my cearier bearings today, and well everything was going ok till I had to get the axle out. so I figured I would take a plastic hammer and hit the axle on the end where the hub goes, but my dumb ass didnt put the bolt back on before I started to hit it, and well I get it all back together and well the hub bolt wont go back on, well come to find out, you know the holes where the cotter pin goes thru on the end of the axle, from hitting them on the end, it bent in, and made the threads bow out, so the bolt will not fit back on cause its to big, so is there anything I can do, or do I have to buy a new axle, and this sucks cause theres no point in buying a stock axle when Im gunna get a +2 axle in the future, but I have stock front a-arms, so if I get a +2, handleing is gunna suck..

I need to replace my carrier bearings on my 02, and I was wondering how do you do it, do you have to have the bearings pressed in?

where those pics taken at the edward jones dome, there was actully a banshee racing, do you have any other pics?

Ok, you guys are all telling me different things..and Im not sure that I wanna only have my air screws at 1/2 turn out..thats not much..

So when I have my bike idleing and you give it gas quickly, it bogs then it will rev fine, I have sst pipes, a k&n, with umi adaptor, no lid, a 300 main, and the needle lifted one notch.(so I lowered the clip) and the air fuel screw at 2 turns out..

so the side with the choke smokes alot more then the side with out the choke, at idle, but then as you give it gas it evens out alittle.

ok, so after riding yesterday, in 30 degree weather, here is one thing that happened, I was heading up a snow covered hill, and didnt really get a run at the hill, but half way up the hill I gassed it, i was in 2nd gear, and I hit WOT, and it never like hit the powerband, it was just like bummmmmmmmm, it never reved passed a certain point, wouldnt you think that it would rev higher, or start to spin the tires..?

I lowered the clip...

Ok, from talking to guys around here, in Missouri, they have never gone over a 300 on the main, I dont think Im lean cause my plugs are dark, they are not tan or even brown..I think I might step up to a 300 just to be safe, but I dont think Ill go higher then that..

After all the posts on telling me how to lift my needle, thanks, it wasnt as hard as I thought, but its still almost the same as before, ok heres what I got for all you to help me out again..lol 2002 banshee SST fmfs, K&N with umi adaptor, with no lid 280 main jet stock pilot jet lifted needle one clip its cold as hell here, so that might have something to do with it, but heres what happening now, its like its got no low end power, and the ssts are low to mid range pipes, its like you hit the throtle and its hessatent but then when it hits the power bands it hits hard, hard enough to pull the front tires its 3-4 gear. My friend rode it, and he said if you would race a stock banshee in a roll on race, not like a stand still you might get beat..Is there anyway to get more low end power out of these suposevly low to mid range pipe, that feel like high rev pipes..

will I need to take off my plastics or gas tank?

GOOD LORD, this sounds kinda tough...

I was told that I need to lift the needle one position on my stock carbs, does anyone have step by step instructions on how to do like, like how to remove the throtle cable and everything..i need it all.. Chris

well my stock size jets are only a 200, and I have the air screws out about a turn at most..

I got sst's and a k&n with no air box lid, and running a 280 main with stock pilot jets but I noticed that the pipes got real blue, goldish color even, right out of the head, and my plugs are a light brown, but sometimes are real dark, and now, I had the idle all set correct, and now after I have rode it a few times, and like when you pull the clutch in to come to a stop, it like idles higher, then then will start to idle down after like 10 seconds..any help, do you think I should step up to a 300 or 310 main jet?

no just trying to be different cause I havent seen a banshee with blue headlights..

I wanna get bluish looking headlights, like you know the high end cars have the HID looking lights, do they make bulbs that I can put in there, and how do you get the old bulbs out?

I was wondering what would be best for me, I was looking into getting paddles soon, I ride in sand mostly, but its a harder packed sand, but this summer Im going to little sarah, and thats deep sand, I was wondering if I should get straight 8 or 10 paddles, what ones will hook up better, or should I get like the ITP sand stars? I have a banshee with ssts, and not to many other mods right now, I do some drag racing, but mostly just normal riding, I am gunna get 20X11X10s no matter what paddle.

If Im running lean, why is it leaking gas when the bike it running? So if its running lean, the plugs will be whiteish color right?

I got the air/fuel screws at 2 turns out, so your saying screw them into where?

you should look at rockymountainatv.com, they have paddles that are desgined for everything, they are like a paddle with a nobby on the, or look into paddle masters.

Like if you hold the throtle at like a 1/4, then push it to WOT quickly it like bogs, then back fires..what is the problem? I have fmfs ssts, k&n with no lid, and 280 jets, nothing done to the pilot jets..
