This isn't directly related to a banshee. I've got an 07 Yamaha BIg bear and put a 2 inch lift kit on it... Does this void my warranty? I'm having C/V boot issues,, One has a small pin hole in it and After washing it i noticed it was popping Sounds like bearing are out.. I've got 120 miles on it... its Brand new... I've had some issues at the yamaha dealer, but i was wondering if i had put the lift kit if it would void my warranty. I dont want to bring it in if it will. I may have to take the lift kit off of it.. THanks. Derrick

I've got a 2000 banshee with stock Carbs... Its sat up for about a year before I had completed putting it back to gether... (no motor mods) The Right side Carb leaks Bad... outta the Vent hose... Is this a Possible Float Sticking? I had to run it with the petcock turned almost off to get it to stop leaking.. when i stoped I'd have to turn it to the off possition... Any Ideas Before i Tear in to the carbs. It ran good, but lost a lotta fuel.. The way the fuel cost I cant afford to loose much....lol.... Thanks, Derrick

I've got a 17 up front with pretty much stock bike. I get to 6th and it keeps climing but not really fast.. LIke they said the pipes dont kick in. I'm extimating i'll run in the mid to upper 80's. I've gotta find a long enough straight away to get clocked on... Hammer on dude

I Have a Prodesign Kill Switch (lanyard type) and need to find out how to hook it up? All it has is 2 wires... I have disconnected my Key switch already... ANyhelp is appreciated. Thanks, Derrick

I've looked at a Microfiche and i didn't see a lock nut on it. Thats why i havent tried that option yet. I'll give it a shot. Thanks

I have a 2000 banshee that i had the flywheel removed and replaced the stator. I"ve tried putting the flywheel back on but the nut that goes on the shaft will not stay on. I've tightened the heck outta it and even taken a center punch and tapped the center of the shaft to try to shock it where it would make a tight fit. but it keeps vibrating back off. Luckly i checked it before putting on the stator cover. ANy ideas on how to keep this nut on. I've been told to get a new nut for it and even try threadlock. Thanks, Derrick

I have a set of the JR2 tires... (junior Dragsters Made by Hoosier).. I really like them... havent made but about 12 passes on them... They arent really a wrinkle wal tire... Just pretty soft... I picked up my tires from a place in Dallas texas... called Smilieys... they are a Complete Circle Track Race shop... but have LOTS of drag stuff... I was luckly traveling around dallas and saw the shop back in a BIG nehiborhood in dallas... 400 miles from my house... cost me about 210 for both tires. Good luck.. Go to Lowes, Home Depot, or some hard ware store... Look for 1 inch round tubing... Aluminum... Thin wall Steel... or something... If you try to get too low ur gonna rub your tie rods against your pipes... if you have drag pipes or I believe T-5 u wont have a problem... but i took my round tube and cut them 12 inches long... then i took and came 1/2" off each end made me a mark in the center and center punched it... Do the same to the other side of the pipe... Then drilled a 13/32" hole, (lil over 3/8") made 2 of them and they work perfect.. Be sure you dont make the holes too big for your shock bolts... It will leave slack in ur struts and its not a plesent ride... I dont reccomend ridding down a bumpy drive way with these struts... Reply if you want my Ideas on the rear struts.... Later, Derrick

Sup peeps.... That was my problem... SUcks i took the entire thing apart adn all i did was put my cable back in.... GOnna piddle with it tomorrow and find out what the deal is cause i just have it sitting in there.. I want to totally eliminate the parking break...... Any ideal on what to do? Thanks, DERRICK

Sup Everyone, I have a 2003 banshee Pretty much stock besides pipe and filter. Today I ran it for about 15 minutes, it ran perfect.. I loaded it up and took it down to the drag strip and when i tried to start it it started but will not rev up. just does a noise (best i could explain it) "Bob...Bob...Bob...Bob...Bob...Bob...Bob...Bob...Bob) where its supposed to make the normal noise (best i can explain) "nin...nin...nin...nin...nin...nin...nin...nin...nin...nin...nin)..... I thought it was the gas. but just about 2 hours earlier it was running perfect... I tried to drive it but it wouldn't never rev up.... Got it home and took the carb bowl off and made sure the jets were clear....pulled the Reeds to check for cracks in them... looked good best to my knowledge..... put it all back to gether and was doing the exact same.... I made sure all my wiring was connected good.... it was... so now i'm down to asking some experts out there....or even amatures out there...Problem is....I dont have 1 banshee doing this... I have 2.I just purchased one.. it was sitting up for about 8 months then i just tried to start it (its a 2000) it does the same.... weird how my 2003 just started this tonight... Sup Bansheeman8 I'm from Beaumont area, Dont do much riding in Houston. Because dotn knwo of any where to ride, I lived in SPring about 6 months last year, never got to go out to SPring creek but i heard its good to ride there, I did make it out to 3 Palms Extremem park in Conroe right off 45, its an awesome track. but that about all i did besides run up and down the highway in spring. but it was too risky....
