Depending on how good of a rider you are,you should be able to take that Raptor now.

I had the same problem once,and mine was due to low compression.But I dought thats your problem being it's a 2003.Check your pilot jets.

Fro how long did you run your tank without the spacers?Did you ever have any problems with it like that?As for the bars hitting I'm going to order a Rox 2" spacer clamp.

I like the looks of the stock tank better,but more fuel is more important then looks.

I started to install my new 5.6 gallon IMS tank today and have a few ?'s.I set the tank on (with out bolting it down all the way) and when I turn my bars they hit the tank. The bars are alum. renthal bars do these not work with the tank?Or is there a bar clamp that can raise my bars up a inch?The tank came with with rubber spacers for underneth that are thicker then the stock ones were,and with them installed the tank seems to sit to high.If I take the rubber spacers out the tank seems to fit perfect.Anyone that has put one of these on your info would be great,because it's pissing me off.
