  1. andrewrj, Where do you ride primarily?
  2. Dry and light tan is how they should look. Lean will be white... where in Iowa are you? I am over in Omaha, NE I am running a 2:1 carb system and have long ago forgotten what my stock jets were, but by plug color alone you should be good... use your own judgement... remember that a rich condition can hide an underlying lean condition, confused... read the Banshee Jetting FAQ... it's pimpalicious!
  3. Big ass tires would hurt your turn in and make you less stable overall... not advisable. Gearing all depends on terrain and purpose... a good low end gearing will make your shee a joy in the trails; however, when you start upping the ponies you will find it hard to hook up on most dirt terrain... gear for more high end and she'll hook up; however, climbing those hill shoots will be a bit more tricky... best to F with it and find a gearing that fits your mods and style
  4. Thanks for the link Motul, Running a -2... I only loose my chain if I come down really hard on my axle at 80 or so degrees... I think the adjusters are smacking dirt or getting knocked out of position ;( . I figure if I run a spring tensioner at least the chain will stay seated until I can smack the tensioner bolt assemblies back into place. I was considering drilling through the SA and putting some bolts below the tensioner assemblies to get them to stop swinging down and out of place...
  5. Does anyone know of anyone that makes a quality spring loaded chain roller? My chain is getting a little fussy after a hard weekend of jumping
  6. Try bumpin' up the pilots one size... really easy to start; however, it may run a tad rich when warm. Fixes one problem, creates another... up to you. Oh yeah check to make sure yous' gots' healthy comp.
  7. Go PTR mids and 1 into 2 carb... best evryday combo IMHO! Nice and torquey
  8. Great piece of $3 insurance
  9. PM'd you offer... let me know, I got my finger on the paypal send button
  10. I'm surprised that fender hasn't gone yet
  11. PM for the cost of the Geks shipped to 68114...
  12. -2 is more fun than -1... easier to wheelie over stumps and what not. The cool thing about having a cut stocker is that, to the uninitiated, the bike looks completely stock (ie more guys will step up to the line with you )
  13. Send some pics to [email protected] Are they in good shape? What year?
  14. Nerfs sold... to me!!! Sent PM
  15. Post pic of the boots... you might have a buyer!
  16. Damn good deal! Someone should snap this up now! New swingarm bearings alone would run you about 50 bucks a kit! I already have a -2, lest I would be all over this
  17. Who wants shinny wheels??? What's the point... to look good on the trailer J/K... mothers works very well.
  18. Wu Hooooo! My avator stuck! Cool new forum... what happened to the web page though I think I remember who does the milling... Boonman, is that right? Boon, If it is you, are you still milling heads?
  19. I have been away so long I can't remember who the HQ'r is that does head milling...? Anyone, anyone
  20. If he presses the issue, teach the piss pot a lesson and whoop him :!: Always let him throw the first punch and make sure there are plenty of people watching. Fighting dirty works... but you better hope the guy doesn't have any training. Whenever someone attempts a "dirty" move on me in the ring, it just clicks me over to "so that's how we are playing it" mode. Not all fighters are gentlemen, if the other guy isn't I make sure and let him know of my dissapointment  Sounds like the guy could've just said accidents happen, most of us would kick a trees ass just for being in our way (most of us ).
  21. Definately his fault... no brainer! It is not your fault he made a bad decision. After all we don't exactly have rear view mirrors on those things  The fact is he could have easily governed his speed to fit conditions, and he didn't. Oh yeah... If the guy gives you any more crap just avoid him. It's not worth getting the crap beat out of you. If; however, you think you could take him, by all means do. (Far be it from me to tell ppl not to fight, it's fun to watch and even more fun to do  )
  22. ppl must not like answering polls...? The outcome is about as I suspected. Good to know
  23. Mannnnn! Keep those "I feel like a hundred" posts coming... makes me feel like a super man
  24. TxBlue, Sounds like you're kinda fragile... maybe you should take up another sport. Water polo would porbably work for you  J/K
  25. Darn it... my 51 + option isn't showing If you are 51 + please consider my apologies. We younger riders should bow down to you. I hope I am still riding race bikes when I am 50. Too many switch to a more "forgiving" machine (big, slow and quiet)
