I just used some 1/4 and 3/8 drum sanding discs. I tried all of the ones mentioned above but the sanding drums worked the best and fastest.

castor 927 sucks, nothing but a messy oil. Amsoil or Valvoline wtc3 @ 2$/quart you cant beat it. Used it for over 2 years and never a problem in any of my bikes.
