woop thanx pimp thats the kinda answer i was lookin for!!

how do you know if you need a bore? and is it always necesary to get a hone when you rebuild the top end?can you just buy a topend kit and put the pistons and rings in or will i need to take the cyilanders some place to have them preped? ie. bored or honed? and how would one know what size pistons they should get? thanx!!!

update switched the spark plug wires around and got the same thing checked the slides there fine no sticking disconected the tors still not fixed left side seams not to fire now exept when its pushin a cloud of smoke and oil out did a compression check this was bad left side was a wooping 8 and the right side was140 so im thinkin maybe rings or blown piston? also need to know since i bought my bike used is there any way to tell if its been bored or what not with out tearing into it? tell me what you guys think the prob could be im thinkin more than likely ill be needing some one to walk me threw a rebuild i got access to anytools i would need i just dont have the engine experiance

ok i dont have a clue i have changed nothing and its ran fine for the past yr i got a cool head fmf fattys k&n filterpro design kill switch dono dome sizes ot jetting but like i said it ran fine for the yr ive had it and ive changed nothing its a 2000 only thing i can think of is one day the spinning thing behind the slater cove was froze in a block of iceand i didnt know it and was trying to start it could i posably of upset the timeing or some thing like i said it ran fine then all of a sudden it started this sputterin and back firein out of the left side and some times boggs out unless i zig zig the throttle i know its pretty vege but if anyone has any ideas what it could be id love to hear them thanx a bunch guys

thanx for the input next time ill know go stainless but buyin new isnt a option at this time im a 31yr old construction worker with a family so i need a fix for my fattys!! thats cost effective wish it was as easy as buy new lol!! oh ya i heard about the paint the inside thing too but i heard it from some harley riders dono what kinda paint or if its too late for me or not but its something ppl with new pipes should check out!!

looked in the garage the other day the first time in about a month and what do i see orange pipes on my shee and i thought to my self those used to be a silver color lol anyone know the easyest way to get that crap off my pipes and prevent it from happening again it seams to do it alil anytime i get the pipes wet thanx guys just remember im lazy so i like chemical solutions!! not elbow greese

i read that stock yfz a-arms will fit the banshee if modifyed does anyone know what needs to be done to the a-arms to do this? I was thinkin of gettin some yfz450 a-arms and shocks. what all will i need to do to them to get them to fit any help would be nice! thanx!!!

how often should you change you wheel bearing axel bearings and a arm bushings and so forth?is there a average of how long they last i ride trails and strip mines there was alot of mud this yr so i dono if that comes into play or not?
