When i get new heads I was told at the yamaha shop I should get 17cc domes. Im at sea level maybe a few hundred above "not much" SST's- K&N- jetted.

I dont know jack really about performance parts but what would be better for my money and also performance. I thought I have heard some suped stock parts are better than aftermarket, could be wrong. Shaved stock head or aftermarket one? Dont know what its called but doing something to your stock carbs, or just get bigger ones.

First off I want to start from the frame and do almost everything myself.... Is it pretty simple as long as you have the money? Putting it together etc..... Not counting the engine componets. Also about hot much $$$ would you need to dump into an engine to reach 100mph, thats my goal.
