  1. I usually use dave to get the pipes and have him give them the specs. The last set rock, but they sent me the mx silencers instead of the hush silencers. So I called Power Pro direct and talked to the owner. He told me to send the silencers back, even though I used them and he will convert them to hush silencers and sen them back to me. Dont ever buy chrome from them, it is the worst chrome ever. Get plain or ceramic coated.
  2. had the pipe copied to the cpi and then the expansion chamber made 1/2" smaller by power pro.
  3. Ricky Stator makes a battery kit. Yes you will need to run a batt to use NOS. Your charging system runs on A/C now. So you will need to run a rectifier to convert the voltage to dc.
  4. I run a Lectron with my power pros. I had mine copied to the cpi's also, but, we also added a little more midrange power to the pipe.
  5. ILR all the way Baby! I just ran the new ones at Moses on Sunday night. I killed everything out there. They do have way more mid power than the full out drag pipes. It is a lot like the cpi's!
  6. I get dealer cost on the pipes through Dave!
  7. They will work best with a ported bike, I dont know how loud, I am guessing 93-94 db's because of how far the downspouts turn. If you call power pro and tell them what you want they can make it or sell you one of their manufactured pipes. I know the hush silencers db at 92!
  8. I just asked for the pipes and said I would take whatever I could get for a finish, they sent the chrome ones. It only took about 2 weeks too! When I gave them the cpi specs, Dyno Dave told me to have .5" added to the head pipe, make the expansion chamber .5" smaller and start the taper sooner. What you see is what we got!
  9. I pay $375.00, I get a deal though. I heard someone else had some made for $400 !
  10. Got the new drag pipes home! They were mached up to start pulling sooner than the cpi's and sign off later. If they do what there supposed to these thing will be the ultimate pipes. I asked for the hush silencers and the guys sent me the middle range ones. They do have huge downspouts though.
  11. If you look in the silencer end there should be a piece of steel tube mounted sideways, the canister diameter is also about 3.5" around.
  12. I have the hush silencers, they db'ed at 92!
  13. Power pro will make any pipe you want. So, there is no telling if those are custom or if they are manufactured pipes. I just had them make me a set that look like cpi's, But, they cost less and it is easier for me to do it that way. Got pics of em, I might notice them.
  14. I believe the sand has more of a tendency to act as a friction agent and eat up the o-rings.
  15. There is not usually a difference because the packing does not obstruct the exhaust path. I could possibly see a loss of power with large silencers. The exhaust would fumble around inside the silencer and cancel out the waveforms.
  16. Who cares how fast banshees go, I dont! I just want to win when I hit the hill and have a fun time at the dunes.
  17. http://www.gravesmotorsports.com/index.html Tell him Jeff sent ya!
  18. I gave him my old seat and he takes the cover off, dip the seat shell so the lower edges dont rub on your pants, then puts the cover on. He does anything custom you could think of. He can even have it airbrushed and then put a clear cover over the airbrush. Graves Motorsports Renton, WA!
  19. It was $100! It also has my real last name on the back. The seat shell was heated and had the corners dipped in too.
  20. A real picky buddy of mine has em, he doesn't say much about them. He hasn't got rid of em yet, he has way more than enough money to buy what he wants. He still has the ptr's?
  21. New seat, check out the ghost flames! This is the guy who made the cover. http://www.gravesmotorsports.com/index.html
  22. Power Pro is in Placentia, CA! Is that close?
  23. I doubt trinity makes their own pipes. I looked at them, its hard to tell. They look like power pros or cpi's.
