It takes that long b/c he is THAT backed up... I don't know if the wait it quite 6 months anymore... I know somebody that got them in a hair under 3 months this summer... Everybody is jumping ship to ohlins and elka... Your right about them sponsoring anybody and elkas can't be beat when they are valved right... If you think your getting doug gust shocks from elka your fuckin looney though... The next set of shocks I order will some from precision concepts or baldwin racing... The problem about getting a set of shocks that aren't "spot on" is that it cost almost as much as a new set of shocks to get them rebuilt... Mike

Axis is a minimum 6 week wait time... I've also never hear wayne tell anybody less than 4 months... If it's not a PEP then what the fuck is it? Mike

How is that very bad customer service? B/c he has more work than he has help!??! Wayne is one of the nicest guys in the suspension business... If you need them faster go though mark @ baldwin racing he is the only guy wayne licensed to build his shocks... Best shocks money can buy... I spilled a wheat beer directly on the keyboard that I'm using right now.. it would put in like a number 4 when you hit the space bar n shit.... I left it alone to dry out for about 5 hours and it worked fine after that... I bought this HP brand new from comp usa... I have the same type of warranty deal that stephen has through best buy but best buy has a bad history of changing the warranty withought telling you... they use to have that type of warranty on cell phones... changed it withought letting anyone know then tried to refuse my old warranty when it came time for a new phone.... I LOVE my HP..... Whatever you do.. get the warranty... even if you don't mess your computer up you can smash it right before it's up and get one with brand new technology for the price of a new warranty (unless you don't want the warranty on the new laptop).... then it's free... Actually the crf is what I call a blank shot system.. It fires every 180 degrees but only arcs at TDC... I'd drain the tank in my 'shee in less than 45 mins... I can run for damn near two race weekends on one tank on the 450... Mike

If I work with my pops for a solid week it's guaranteed that we'll have a couple blowouts.... it's kinda hard to work with yourself at times :baseball_innocent: ....As for the hospital paging system.... I shit you not... My pops hit that button.. about a minute later... a loud WHAT!? rang back over into his speaker box..... That was the first time I had to leave the hospital "escorted".... James.... At the end of the day... your pops is your pops... nothing anybody can do or say to change that... Consider yourself lucky for everyday you have with him.... Mike
