  1. ODI Ruffian Lock-ons... There are no better grips. Hub

It is fine. I run 20x10x10 V-Blades on my banshee and love them. Hub
  3. Not trying to be a dick but the definition of "Mint Condition" is "In new or unsed condition"... Free bump though. Hub
  4. The rebuild consists of an o-ring, little spring, screw with loctite on it, and a ball bearing. I would just take if off clean the shaft really good, apply grease on it, ut a new o-ring on it, and put it back together. I bought the rebuild kit and mic'ed the spring and ball bearing from the new one and the OEM one on the bike and there was no difference. Relaced it all since I paid for it and with 6 months it rattled again, now I just pull it off and replace the o-ring. Hub
  5. Umm you need to be more specific with this statement. It does NOT have to be made for ATV's and motorcycles with wet clutches. What you need to say is ANY SAE Certified motor oil that is NOT friction modified will work. If it good enough for the OEM's than it is good enough to use. The service manuals and the OEM recommend regular motor oil that is SAE certified. I use Castrol 10w30 in my 96 Banshee and I have never had a single problem and it is still on the factory clutch. If you want to spend extra money for peace of mind, go right ahead. Keep in mind there are no more shearing forces in a Banshee trans than there are in, say a V8 engine. Hub
  6. Download the service manual that is stickied at the top of this forum. Hub
  7. Banshee Sprocket Hub #2XJ-25386-00-00 Warrior Sprocket Hub #3GD-25381-00-00 If you want your chain to not run staright and true use a warrior one on a Banshee or vice-versa. They are not the same. Hub
  8. Sprocket Hubs are not the same. The warrior is more flat than the banshee. Hub
  9. Okay you said you have no pressure on the lever right? Do this. Open the resi and fill it up with brake fluid, to the top. Loosen the hndlebar clamp and rotate the assembly back, so the banjo bolt it in the up postion. Take the brake line off the banjo bolt and see if there is fluid in the piston. Put fluid in the piston put the brake line and banjp bolt back on and raotate the assembly back. You should the get lever pressure back. You have air in there. Hub
  10. Well I don't jump, pop wheelies, and ride in rough terrain, when avoidable. The Banshee has been stiing for a few months. I drove it rather hard but not neat the crap out of it.. Hub
  11. I talked to the Yamaha dealer today and they said they don't think it is the Master Cylinder. They say it sounds like there is air in the lines because it seems to heat up and clamp the brakes down. He said brake fluid will not expand but air will. I went ahead and reflushed the system again with fresh brake fluid. I wonder if someone can do me a favor? Can you jack up the front of your banshee to get the tires off the ground. Spin the front wheel and move your brake line and see if it makes the wheel drag. Hub
  12. It locked up when I was riding it. I very rarely use my front brakes at all. I am willing to bet it has something to do with the master cylinder but was not sure.
  13. Okay so I was riding in Sand on Sunday and the front brakes locked up. I do not use the front brakes very often but somehow they built up pressure and locked up. I had to crack open a Bleeder valve on the clipers to get it to release. It did this three times through out the day, then I decided to call it quits and head home. General troubleshooting found this. Pressure was being built up in the brake system causing both front brakes to grab. I opened the Master Cylinder and this did not relieve the pressure. I had to open the bleeder valves and brake fluid would come out when I opened the valves. I flushed the Brake system with new DOT3/DOT4 compliant synthetic brake fluid. I checked the brake hoses and they all seem fine and I spin the tires and there is no grab. I pumped the front brake and they seemed to not build pressure. Turning the haldlebars back and forth I noticed the brake hoses hit the Tierods. I also noticed that doing it often caused the tires to drag. I found that wiggling the left hose made the brakes start to grab. I spun the right wheel and was able to stop the spin by moving the left brake hose. I ordered a new set of stainless steel braided hoses hoping that will solve the issue. So now to my question.. Should the MAster Cylinder relive the pressure when the cap is removed? Hub
  14. Hello All, I know I do not post here very often but I need the help of my fellow ATVers. Oklahoma is trying to pass a bill that would make it illegal for any person under the age of 12 to operate a ATV. Please take the time to voice your concerns. Here are the details.. Oklahoma Bill 1830...... Please write, email, and phone your local Senator and Senator Bernest Cain in objection to senate bill 1830, which states in section 1 paragraph B that Any parent, legal guardian or person having actual responsibility for a child under twelve (12)years of age, who knows or should have known the child is operating or riding as a passenger on an all-terrain vehicle, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, be subject to the penalties as provided in subsection A of this section. Also contact friends, family, associates, and anyone that may affected by this bill. Link to Senate Bill 1830 http://webserver1.lsb.state.ok.us/2005-06SB/SB1830_int.rtf Link to state senators emails and phones numbers. http://www.oksenate.gov/Senators/directoryalpha.htm Senator Bernest Cain [email protected] 405 521-5610 Senator Owen Laughlin [email protected] 405 521-5626 Link to AMA action form letter against Senate bill 1830 http://capwiz.com/amacycle/issues/alert/?a...8420391&type=ST CONTENT OF FORM LETTER: Senate Bill 1830 would make it illegal for anyone under that age of 12 to operate an ATV. This bill will deny my family the right to participate in our preferred family recreation. Families should be free to decide what to do in their spare time and parents must have discretion over the type of recreation in which their children participate. I believe that rider education is the best approach to the long-term reduction of ATV-related injuries and fatalities. Rider education promotes the use of safety equipment, safe riding and improves rider skill. I am concerned about ATV safety, but the safety of motorized recreation can be enhanced without making the participation of young persons a crime. I respectfully request that you oppose SB 1830. Please include personal contact info (eg: name, address, phone, email) when sending to your Senators. Thanks, Hub
  15. The ITP's are just as light ans the Sand Skate2's. I do not have access to a digital scale to get the exact weight of the two. Both the Sand Skate2's and ITP Sand Stars are way lighter than the GBC Sand Sharks on the same rim. Hub
