bought the head, but was told it was good, it was from a shop, then bike runs real good, when we put on the head gasket on not all the holes lined up so i wasnt sure if it was the right gasket, anyone know if this affects anything

just rebuilt my 250r with a milled head from another bike, dont know if its fromthe same year, but i took it out the other day and it began to smoke slightly from the screw, is it just the gasket or do i have a bigger prob

it would be great to do it myself, other than the fact that im not that illiterate with the tools that i would be needing. im just learning the basics of mechanics with my shee, so i was looking for someone to just get the 250r done for me. i live in newport but my bike and stuff is near corona and the whole inland empire. what do u guys suggest. who does a good job for just a basic rebuild

i would like to start off by saying thanks to everyone here, i get alot of good stuff from u guys and now my question. my banshee is running strong, but i have 87 250r that popped. i dont know where to go rebuild it and im in socal, i dont even know whats a decent price to pay since this has never happened to me. can anyone help me out. thanks guys
