Ok😀 awakening a dead animal here..😄 I never got around to getting the clutch looked at, so I dove into it last night myself. Clutch fibers we sticking to the pressure plates pretty severely. I took them all off and pried them all apart. The fibers left a mark on the corresponding pressure plate. I assume this condition is what made the clutch stall the motor out when trying to get it in gear? The rod and ball are not fused together but have minor signs of wear. I am going to buy a new clutch kit, rod and ball. Will this remedy the clutch stalling out the motor? Is there anything else I should be looking for while it is apart? Inner and outer basket brand new, absolutely no wear or grooves...

I found nothing bro. Been working 84 hours a week. Sleep06 is going to look at it for me I will let you know what he finds...

I enjoy wrenching on my TRX and my banshee. I’ve owned the TRX since 1989 and know every square inch in the dark. I never tooled on the banshee so I’m new to it.. I don’t mind getting back out there and taking it all apart but I feel like I’m throwing darts at a board. I just put a brand new clutch cover gasket on when I take it all apart can I reuse it?

The plates were stuck when I had it apart I gently pryed them with a plastic screw driver I unstuck them all and dropped a little oil in between. I thought that was my problem apparently not... Should I be focusing on the arrows lining up on the cases or is that bullshit?

Ok what the fuck..!! I installed a brand new clutch lever and perch, a brand new cable and I took off all the pressure plates and frictions and set them back, applied some oil and adjusted the slack adjuster. I put everything back together fluids etc and I cannot get this fucking thing into gear without it lurching forward and stalling! What is my motherfucking issue?? Please advise!?

I just put a brand new radiator and new hoses on the bike. Everything is tight. I have a minuscule leak (tiny drips) from these 2 bolts under the engine. Can someone please tell me what this from and how to fix it? Prior to the new radiator and hoses there was no leak...

Thank you guys I think it’s a combination of both, my clutch cable was worn and stretched and I need to adjust the nut on the pressure plate. Gonna do it after work tomorrow I’ll report back...

No it was absolutely perfect prior to the install of the new pro taper clutch perch and lever. After I installed that, I couldn’t get the adjustment right. No matter which way I adjusted the perch the bike would jump out of gear. So I order a new cable and Im going to install it tomorrow. If the adjustment is still out of wack then I’ll pull the clutch cover and adjust from the pressure plate..

I just installed a new pro taper clutch perch and lever with the adjustable star. Prior to that the clutch was setup perfectly. Now I cannot get the clutch adjusted properly, I cannot put it in gear without stalling the motor. I have a brand new clutch cable. Should I install the cable first and try to make the adjustments on the new perch or pull the clutch cover and adjust it from the pressure plate first?

Cool Bros! I didn’t know thank you for that information I’m going to change over to the Honda throttle even though the CR mid bends fit all my Yamaha controls now. The Yamaha throttle is so resistant to push and I put a brand new throttle cable on.. With the Honda throttle what kind of throttle cable is required? As I type this...
